Warriors opens with commentary welcoming everyone to the show with pyro! Cameras catch the arrivals of Drew McIntyre, Candice LeRae, Ivy Nile, Sami Zayn, and Stephanie Vaquer. Commentary hypes SNMA and The Royal Rumble!
Cameras catch Jey Uso walking backstage, YEETing and speaking to everyone as the WWE Universe YEETS with him. Jey is about to knock on a door when he hears a female voice singing, “You almost got it, just go a little deeper.” Jey’s eyes widen, and the WWE universe wonders what they are listening to. Jey opens the door and finds Nicholas behind Jessica in what looks like a compromising position. When they both spot Jey, they quickly gather themselves as Jessica realizes what it looks like.
Jey says, “My bad, Uce. Do ya thing. Didn’t mean to interrupt,” as the WWE Universe chuckles and Corey Graves looks disgusted.
Jessica tells Jey, “No, no, it’s not what it looks like. My bracelet fell down into the couch, and Nicholas was just helping me get it, that’s all,” as she reveals the bracelet in her hand.
Jey says, “Oh, I mean, no judgment,” as he holds his hands up.
Nicholas says he’ll let them talk as he kisses Jessica on the cheek, winks, and tells her, “I’ll see you later, Mrs. Simpson.”
Jey says, “I see you, boss. YEET.”
Jessica blushes and smiles at the same time and asks Jey what she can do for him. He says he wants to get his hands on Logan Paul again. He says Logan trying to beat him up after their match and what he did to his brother is unacceptable. He declares himself for the Royal Rumble and says he plans on winning. But first, he has to tie up some loose ends, and he wants to face Logan Paul in an Ambulance Match. Jessica’s eyes widen.
She says she will talk it over with Triple H, but for now, she tells him to take care of himself and Jimmy. She also tells him to tell Jimmy to keep his head up and that she’ll be checking on him. Jey nods, and they dap. Jey smiles widely and says, “Do I need to get Nicholas so y’all can finish what you were doing?”
Jessica, flustered but smiling, tells Jey to get his ass out of her office as he closes the door.
Commentary hypes the opening match!
Opening match and entrances.
Backstage, Johnny Gargano is hyping up Ciampa. He says he knows Ciampa is going to kick Penta’s ass and that he will be right there at ringside with him. Ciampa says he appreciates that, but he wants to do this on his own. Then his music hits! Johnny looks a little confused.
Commercial break.
After the match, Ciampa fakes an injury, to sucker punch Penta.
Cameras catch JD McDonough talking with Liv Morgan. She tells him he needs to make it right with Finn. JD says Finn was dead weight and that he did what he had to do. He says, “We don’t need him, and I’ll prove it!” Liv screams in frustration as she walks away, but she hears a loud thud. She sees JD McDonough laid out against the steel steps, with Finn Bálor yelling at him, “I’m dead weight? We’ll see about that!” as referees and backstage personnel pull him away.
Corey Graves says they haven’t even gotten an hour into the show and it’s already been chaos. “This is what I’m talking about — Jessica has no control over her show or her superstars.” Michael Cole tries to play devil’s advocate and says Jessica can’t control anyone — these are grown adults. Corey snaps at Cole and says, “So you’re kissing her ass now too?”
Michael Cole moves on, as he recaps the rivalry between Stephanie Vaquer and Candice LeRae and the match between Amelia Turner and Ivy Nile, along with what led to this match, as Warriors goes to commercial.
Commercial break.
Backstage, after the break, Cathey Kelley tries to get a word with Tommaso Ciampa about what just transpired. He looks Cathey up and down and says, “The time for games is over,” as the WWE Universe wonders what that means.
Jessica is seen walking backstage when Johnny Gargano approaches her. She sighs, rolls her eyes, and asks how she can help him. Johnny says he wants to show what he can do in the ring and prove that he’s more than just another tag team wrestler. Jessica tells Johnny that since she’s in a good mood, she’s going to give him a piece of advice. She says he’s quite boring, to be honest. So instead of telling her he wants a chance, he needs to show her. Johnny walks away looking more determined than ever.
Cathey Kelly approaches Jessica and asks what her thoughts are about Corey Graves filing a hostile work environment complaint against her. Jessica’s smile disappears as she says, “Honestly, Corey Graves can kiss my a—” before she can finish, Drew McIntyre is seen screaming her name! She looks alarmed and asks what his problem is. He says his sword is missing, and he knows her “punk ass husband” took it. Jessica says, “First off, don’t yell at me like that. And secondly, if you have an issue with Nicholas, go find him and deal with it. Leave me out of it,” as she walks away.
Commentary hypes the next match as Corey says this is exactly why he filed the complaint — she’s unprofessional! He says he hopes Drew finds Nicholas and kicks his ass. Michael Cole says Corey will never learn as he hypes Sami Zayn vs. Je’Von Evans as Warriors goes to commercial.
Commercial break.
Backstage, cameras catch up with Stephanie Vaquer near the trainer’s area, where an ice pack is pressed against her shoulder after being hit in the tag team match accidentally by Amelia. Amelia rushes up to Stephanie, apologizing frantically. Stephanie tells Amelia that she's not upset about being hit, because she knows it was an accident, but warns Amelia that accidents like that will be what causes her to lose the Intercontinental championship. Stephanie stares at Amelie intensly, before walking away, leaving Amelia standing there looking confused and sad.
In the ring, Sami gets on the mic and says he’s tired of being overlooked. He says just because Je’Von is “the next big thing,” people automatically think he’s going to win against Dominik Mysterio. Sami says he had to make a statement — it’s not a done deal, and he’s coming for that Intercontinental Championship! Sami says not only will he win at Saturday Night's Main Event, but he’s also declaring his entry into the Royal Rumble — and he plans on winning that too. He shouts, “IT’S MY TIME NOW!”
After the match, Sami shakes Je'Von's hand. Dominik attacks both Sami and Je’Von. He hits the 619 on Sami Zayn and a Frog Splash on Je’Von Evans, leaving them both laid out in the ring as he holds his title high above his head while the WWE Universe boos loudly.
Backstage, referees and personnel are breaking up a fight! Cameras pan over and catch Johnny Gargano beating the hell out of Ethan Alexander. Jessica walks up and asks what’s going on. Johnny looks at a bruised and battered Ethan and says, “Is that proof enough?” Johnny walks away as Jessica smirks, looking impressed, and says, “Damn, I’m good.”
Corey says, “So not only is she unprofessional, but she tricked one superstar into beating up another superstar?” Byron Saxton says no — Jessica just told him to prove he wanted a chance. She had no idea what he was going to do. Corey tells Byron to shove it and says everyone is just making excuses for her.
Drew McIntyre’s music hits as he makes his way angrily to the ring. Commentators wonder what he has to say, next!
Commercial break.
Drew McIntyre demands that Nicholas give his sword back. He says with all the ass-whoopings he’s given Nicholas over the last couple of weeks, he must have amnesia if he doesn’t remember not to mess with him. Nicholas appears on the titantron, holding the sword. He’s standing next to Drew McIntyre’s car. Nicholas says he’s tired of playing nice. He then takes the sword and flattens all of McIntyre's tires. Nicholas says, “Come do something about it,” as the titantron fades to black. McIntyre is visibly pissed in the ring.
Backstage, Charlotte Flair is hyping Alexa Bliss up for her match. Alexa says she can’t wait for the Royal Rumble so she can win it. Charlotte asks how Alexa plans on winning when she intends to win it herself. She says since she’s already a two-time winner — even though last year was “ehh” — she deserves a do-over. Alexa says maybe next year, but this year is hers. Charlotte says they can focus on the Rumble later — right now, they need to focus on Alexa kicking Lyra’s butt as Alexa’s music hits.
Entrance. The match gets underway.
Commercial break.
After the match, all four women are in the ring arguing. They begin pushing each other until it breaks out into a full brawl! Referees rush in to break them up as the WWE Universe chants, “LET THEM FIGHT!”
Cameras catch Drew McIntyre backstage yelling for Nicholas Simpson and asking everyone if they’ve seen him. Suddenly, Nicholas attacks from behind, throwing Drew into a concrete wall! Nicholas grabs a fire extinguisher and tries to hit Drew with it, but Drew ducks and spears Nicholas into another concrete wall! Jessica runs in yelling for both of them to stop. She says since they want to fight so badly, they can do it tonight in the main event! The WWE Universe cheers! Jessica tells Drew to go cool off and tells Nicholas to calm down in her office.
Jessica’s phone rings as she walks away. She answers on speakerphone — it’s Triple H. He says he’ll be at Warriors next week to discuss the complaint Corey filed against her. She says okay. He says, “Talk soon,” and they hang up. Cameras catch Jessica mouthing, “That bastard, Corey.”
Michael Cole says, “See what you started, Corey?” Corey says somebody needs to say something around here since everyone else is too scared. Michael and Byron look at each other, shrugging.
Commercial break.
Commentary recaps last week’s rivalry and match between Rhea Ripley and Sara Yamashita.
After the match, the Kabuki Warriors attack Rhea and Iyo. Rhea gets the upper hand and headbutts Sara! But as soon as Rhea turns around, Asuka mists her in the eyes, blinding her as she screams in pain! Iyo gets back into the ring as the Kabuki Warriors retreat.
In the men’s locker room, The Blood Brothers are getting ready to leave when New Catch Republic walks in. Devin and Bison stand up. They look at each other and punch Pete and Tyler right in the face! Pete and Tyler gather themselves and attack Devin and Bison from behind, stomping them on the ground and hitting them with their Tag Team Titles.
