Explosion kicks off with scenes from Survivor Series: Wargames.
Michael Cole welcomes everyone to Explosion as cameras show the Wolfpack, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green, and Damian Priest arrive to the arena.
Michael Cole informs everyone that, after being speared by Bron Breakker at the end of Survivor Series, CM Punk will be out of action for the next couple of weeks and, therefore, is not medically cleared to appear on the show.
Jade Cargill's music hits as she makes her way to the ring.
In the ring, Jade addresses the ladies in the back, as well as the WWE universe, telling them that she's the most dominant champion in the WWE and no woman in the back can touch her or beat her.
B Fab music hits as she makes her way to the ring. B Fab says that Jade is delusional and, since winning the championship, has been an obnoxious, self-centered bitch. Jade smirks, telling B Fab that she got one thing right, she is that bitch! Jade tells B Fab that she's ready to teach her a lesson, she'll never forget, challenging B Fab to a match right now! B Fab thinks for a second, before accepting the challenge.
Michael Cole hopes William makes the match official, as Explosion goes to commercial.

Michael Cole shows the stare down between Cargill and B Fab from Survivor Series, as he announces that William has made the match official.
Commentators recap the first two matches of the John Cena the Final Time is Now tournament from Monday's Warriors, with Gunther defeating Shinsuke Nakamura and Penta defeating El Grande Americano. Corey Graves hypes tonight's matches between Solo Sikoa and Dragon Lee, as well as R Truth vs the Miz.
Byron Saxton recaps the announcement that tomorrow night in Madison Square Garden, WWE will present a special live TV edition of WWE Live, airing this Saturday on NBC. The event will feature the final four first-round matches, as well as all the quarterfinal matches, which will lead to the two semifinal matches on Warriors next week and the tournament concluding next Friday on Explosion!
Solo Sikoa along with the MFTs and Dragon Lee and the LWO prepare for the matches, as commentators hype the match, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Immediately after the commercial break, cameras catch an altercation where Damian Priest is walking to the locker room, with personnel welcoming him back to Explosion. The Wolfpack stops him, saying, 'Yeah, welcome back to Explosion.' They warn Priest that things are different now, however, and that the Wolfpack runs things now. Priest smirks, saying that he's been watching Explosion and the Wolfpack has enough on their hands to be worrying about him. Breakker gets in Priest's face, telling Priest that making enemies brings him joy. Priest says just like the Street Profits, he wants all the smoke, as Breakker looks at Bronson Reed, smirking and then punching Priest in the face. It appears that Reed and Breakker are about to attack Priest; however, Randy Orton comes up, saying Hey, causing Breakker and Reed to retreat. Orton yells for help as he checks on Damian Priest.
Commentators warn that the Wolfpack needs to be stopped!
After the match, commentators update viewers on the tournament brackets, as they hype R Truth vs the Miz for later tonight, in another first-round tournament match!
In a pre-taped interview, Nikki Bella and Giulia address Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, with Nikki saying that since Charlotte and Alexa are the new tag team champions, it seems as though they will have to take the titles from them now, instead of the Kabuki Warriors. Nikki says that even though she and Giulia are a new team, she is a legend and legends don't need much time to get back to their championship ways, adding it's in their blood! Giulia tells Charlotte and Alexa through the camera that soon they will be the new tag team champions and put that fake friendship to rest just like Charlotte's many marriages, as Nikki and Giulia laugh, as they walk away!
Backstage, Natalya and Maxxine Dupri are watching the monitor in the women's locker room, saying how low and despicable Nikki Bella and Giulia are for saying that. Natalya and Maxxine agree that Nikki and Giulia wouldn't be honorable champions. Nia Jax and Lash Legend walk up, saying that neither would Natalya and Maxxine, saying one of you is past your prime and the other never stood a chance to be anything other than a plastic little Barbie. Natalya tells Lash and Nia to put their money where their mouths are, in the ring. Nia and Lash look at each other before accepting the match simultaneously, with Nia adding, This will be your career funeral, as she and Lash walk away!
Commentators hope that William makes the match official!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, Byron Saxton tells the WWE universe that William has booked the match between Nataly and Maxxine Dupri versus Nia Jax and Lash Legend, and the match will start right now!
Michael Cole also announces that, after what transpired earlier, William has booked Damian Priest versus Bron Breakker in tonight's main event!
After the match, Nia Jax and Lash Legend are pissed when Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez appear on the ramp, talking trash to them, telling them that they'll have to get past them if they want to be tag team champions! As Nia and Lash go back and forth with Roxanne and Raquel, Nikki Bella and Giulia attack an already beaten Natalya and Maxxine Dupri. When Rauel and Roxanne realize what's going on, they rush to ringside to make the save, however Nikki and Giulia run away as Nia and Lash walk up the ramp, avoiding Raquel and Roxanne!
Corey Graves is excited about the women's tag team scene as he says that Nikki Bella and Giulia are guaranteed a title match down the line, and now Nia Jax and Lash Legend are partners with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, promising to get their chance at the tag titles themselves. Michael Cole tells Corey not to forget about Natalya and Maxxine, who, even though they just lost, are not a tag team that should be overlooked, as Byron Saxton warns Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, through the camera that those teams are all gunning for those tag team titles.

Backstage, Tiffany Stratton is stretching when Kiana James walks up, telling Tiffany that Chelsea Green is invoking her rematch clause soon. Tiffany shrugs, telling Kiana that she's not worried about that. Kiana tells Tiffany she should be, because she just talked to William, who has granted her a match against Tiffany for tonight. Tiffany asks Kiana why that should worry her. Kiana says that she will make it her business to weaken Tiffany so badly, that it'll be easy for Chelsea to beat her to get her title back. Tiffany gets in Kiana's face, telling her to Try it. Tiffany grabs her title and walks away, as Chelsea Green walks up. Chelsea asks Kiana why she 's trying so hard to get her as a client when she already has Giulia and Nikki Bella? Kiana says that she will make it her business to sign as many clients as possible and make sure that all of the women who aren't given a fair shot, gets what they deserve! Kiana tells Chelsea to come with her to the ring tonight, to watch her work her magic. Chelsea agrees!
Byron Saton reiterates that the final (4) first round matches as well as the (4) quarterfinal matches for the tournament will take place on the WWE Live Event, live from Madison Square Garden tomorrow night!
Commentators recap the rivalry between Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton, along with the altercation between Kiana James and Stratton from earlier tonight. They hype the match, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, Randy Orton checks on Damian Priest in the medic's room. Priest says that he's fine but appreciates Orton for checking in on him. Orton starts to walk away when William comes in, stopping him, officially welcoming both of them to Explosion again, but saying that although neither one of them has a great track record in tag teams, they both know there's strength in numbers, as he advises that tonight, they may want to link up just in case the Wolfpack decides to strike. William says that after what happened to CM Punk, he's not trying to lose any more superstars, but he'll leave that decision up to them, as he walks away. Orton and Priest look at each other and shrug as Priest puts his hand out for Orton to shake, which he does.
Commentators wonder if that was an agreement for Orton to accompany Priest to the ring in the main event!
After the match, Chelsea Green screams that she will get her title back as she helps Kiana up the ramp!

After the break, Michael Cole announces that on next week's show, it will be the finals of the Final Time is Now tournament. After what transpired earlier, Racquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez will take on Nia Jax and Lash Legend; Ilja Dragunov will issue an open challenge for his United States championship; the Street Profits will address the state of the tag team division, and Jade Cargill will select her opponent for New Year's Resolution for the WWE Women's championship!

Cameras show Paul Heyman preparing Bron Breakker for his match, as Damian Priest makes his way to the ring, with Randy Orton catching up with him, seemingly deciding to accompany him to ringside, as commentators hype the main event, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
During the match, Bron Breakker pulled the referee in front of him, causing Damian Priest to knock the referee out on accident. Following that, Bronson Reed throws a steel chair into the ring, giving Bron an unfair advantage. After the match, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker attack Randy Orton as they assault Damian Priest with steel chairs, and Explosion goes off the air!
