Explosion opens with cameras already backstage. Security is escorting someone out… It’s Carmelo Hayes who is furious and yelling. Carmelo Hayes says, "I know it was one of you." Officials try to calm him down. Carmelo says, “Somebody jumped me at the Rumble… and I’m not leaving until I find out WHO!” He shoves past security and storms deeper into the building.

Michael Cole welcomes everyone to the show, as he says, “We have just learned Carmelo Hayes is here tonight looking for the person who attacked him at the Royal Rumble!” Michael Cole also announces that last week in the Elimination Chamber qualifying match, Bronson Reed was seriously hurt and he will be out indefinitely. Cole tells the WWE universe to check out wwe.com for more details on the injuries of Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker.

Suddenly, Roman Reigns' music hits, as the WWE universe explodes.

In the ring, Roman says, “I won the Royal Rumble… so I choose WrestleMania.” He pauses, adding, “But let’s be honest…”, as he smirks, “The champion on Warriors… Jake Silva?” The crowd reacts as Roman shakes his head. “He’s not worth my time.” The crowd pops as CM Punk's music hits. CM Punk walks out laughing. Punk says, “You finally said something smart,” as the crowd laughs. Punk says, “Jake Silva isn’t the main event…”, as he points at Roman, "We are." The WWE universe erupts. Roman steps closer, saying, "You want me at WrestleMania?” Punk says, "You owe me WrestleMania.” As they lock eyes, face to face. Roman laughs, backing up saying, "You don't get to choose who I face at Wrestlemania, I won the Rumble so I'll choose. I'll wait to see what happens with Cody and Jake on Warriors, and then I'll make my decision. Maybe!" as Roman smirks, before shoving the mic into Punk's chest and walking away. The WWE universe has mixed reactions, as Punk stands in the ring looking annoyed.

Backstage, William storms into the building, looking annoyed. Jackie Redman asks what William thinks of Jessica's comments on Warriors. William says he doesn't think about Jessica, but says if he had to respond, “Jessica wants to talk about me on Warriors?” “Let’s talk about Jessica.” The crowd reacts, adding: “She hides behind her roster… hides behind her husband… and calls that leadership.” As the crowd says, ooohhh. William adds, “She says I should mind my business?, as he points at the entrance area. “This is my business. And unlike her… I don’t need favorites to run a show.” As he smirks. “I run a show people actually want to watch.” William looks directly into the camera, "Look cuz, all your life you have played second fiddle to me, you've always looked up to me and wanted to be me. But guess what, just like your show, you'll always be second to me. You want to go personal, then let's take it there. Your bitch ass husband is always sticking his nose in all of your business, and you just eat it up, but what you need to be worrying about is where he's sticking something else." The crowd is shocked as William walks away, even more upset.

Commentators are shown with their mouths open wide, with Corey Graves breaking the silence, laughing hysterically. Michael Cole gathers himself enough to say that, despite Jessica's comments on Warriors, Johnny Gargano will have his Explosion re-debut next against Matt Cardona in tonight's opening match.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

After the match, Johnny Gargano grabs a mic and says, “Jessica said we’re not main event material. That’s funny… coming from someone who handpicks her superstars, and has never been main event material herself.” Candice, who has made her way back to the ring, says, "Jessica, I appreciate you giving me the opportunities that you did, but let's be clear, I could keep up with your lackluster roster. I did keep up with your roster. I even elevated that so-called women's tag team division. But since I didn't kiss your ass, I guess I wasn't one of your favorites. But thanks for wishing us the best of luck on Explosion, but we don't need it now that we're off of that cluckerf**k that you call Warriors". The WWE universe gasps in shock as commentators recap last week's women's Elimination Chamber qualifying match, with NXT's Lauren Young winning!

Brooklyn smirks, telling Natalya that she didn't do a good enough job with her. Natalya says excuse me. Brooklyn says, "Look, I know you and Ronda are or were friends, but frankly, I don't give a damn. I know I'm better than her, and I'm even better than you". Natalya looks appalled, telling Brooklyn that she can prove it in the ring tonight. Brooklyn shrugs, saying, "Fine", as she walks away confidently. Natalya and Maxxine look at each other.
