Explosion opens with William in his office, as Bron Breakker is yelling, asking him what is going on with Paul Heyman. William, who is barely paying attention, looks up from the magazine he's reading, asking Bron how the hell he would know what's going on. Breakker pounds on William's desk, demanding he get answers. William pounds his hands on the desk as well, telling Breakker to get the hell out of his office, before he comes up missing. Breakker is furious as he starts to walk away, telling William, if he doesn't handle the Wyatt Sicks, then he'll take matters into his own hands. William smirks, saying, Do what you got to do!
Commentators wonder what will happen on Explosion tonight, as the last few weeks have been chaotic. Michael Cole says, “We are barely on the air, and things are already out of control! Security has been searching the building for any sign of Paul Heyman and the Wyatt Sicks since last week!”
After the opening video, William makes his way to the ring. William says, “For weeks, the Wyatt Sicks have tried to make Explosion their playground. They kidnapped Paul Heyman. They humiliated my roster. They left their mark on this ring.” The WWE universe boos loudly. William adds, "And if the Wyatt Sicks think they can hijack this show again…” William pauses, then adds: ".... I dare them to try." William throws the microphone down as he storms out of the ring. Michael Cole runs down the matches for tonight as he officially welcomes everyone to Explosion in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The lights flicker violently. The crowd gasps. A faint childlike laugh echoes. William slowly walks up the ramp, but looks determined and not intimidated. The lights stabilize as William smirks, winking at the WWE universe. Cameras catch William saying, “That’s what I thought.”
Commentators hype the opening match, as they recap Aleister Black attacking Rey Mysterio last week and Rey Fenix stepping up to defend Rey's honor. Cameras show Zelina Vega preparing Aleister Black for the match as Rey Fenix stretches.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, William is reviewing last week's camera footage with a security technician. As the technician and William review the footage, the screen glitches for a split second. A lantern glow appears behind Paul Heyman in a dark hallway, then the footage cuts out. The technician looks confused, as William appears frustrated.
After the match, Zelina Vega grabs a microphone. Zelina says that the LWO has been taken apart one by one. She says that they even tried to recruit Rey Fenix to help them, and they still failed. Zelina says that Rey Mysterio is the last piece of the puzzle that will fade to black, and then they can move on from that stupid chapter of her past.
Suddenly, Dragon Lee rushes into the ring. Officials scramble to separate everyone. Dragon Lee is screaming at Aleister Black. The LWO rushes down the ramp. Security floods the ring trying to restore order.
Michael Cole shouts, “The LWO wants revenge after what happened to Rey Mysterio!” The chaos spills toward the stage before security finally separates everyone.
Backstage, R Truth is walking towards the ring. He sees William. Truth walks up to William, saying, I feel bad for you, dawg; the Wyatt Sicks have been stealing your superstars. William looks annoyed. R Truth asks if William is going to ask Jessica to send him some superstars if the Wyatt Sicks keep kidnapping people. William takes a deep breath and says, No but if they do keep stealing people, I'm going to pray that you're next! William walks away, furious. R Truth says, That's mean, boss, as the lights start to flicker. R Truth takes off running down the hall, yelling for help. A lantern is shown at the end of the hallway as the cameras fade to black.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, William is about to walk into his office when a backstage personnel member says that Truth is missing. William puts his palm over his head, telling him to go find him because his match is next. The Miz walks up, as William rolls his eyes. Miz tells William that since Truth is missing, that means he technically won the match. William says that Miz will still need to go to the ring to be declared the winner, but adds he has full faith that Truth will pop up between now and then, telling Miz to go to the ring. Miz says that he should be granted a United States title match for winning his match tonight. William tells Miz that the only thing he should be granted is a muzzle to put over his mouth. Miz says, Excuse me, do you know that I am the only A-lister on your show? William says, That means you're probably on the wrong show. I'm sure Jessica could use your star power on her show, as William pushes Miz back, slamming the door in his face. Miz says, Well, excuse me. Maybe I should give my old friend Jessica a call. Miz makes his way towards the ring.
Meanwhile, cameras catch Truth running down a hallway where he bumps into someone, who the camera cannot see. Truth falls to his knees, as if he's going to pray, saying, Thank you, black Jesus, for saving me! A hand motions for Truth to go to the ring for his match, as he nods in excitement.
Commentators wonder who Truth just ran into, as they hype the match!

COMMERCIAL BREAK
During the match, Miz tries to escape; however, Oba Femi stops him in his tracks, throwing him back into the ring.
After the match, the Miz snaps, saying, "Is this what my career has come to?! Babysitting R-Truth again?!” Truth interrupts him, saying, “I thought we were best friends again.” Miz yells at Truth that they were never best friends. Truth looks genuinely hurt. The crowd has mixed emotions. Miz, seeing how hurt Truth is, tells Truth that he's sorry. He then shocks everyone, hugging Truth. Truth seems happy until Miz hits Trith with the microphone, in the head, knocking him to the ground. Miz repeatedly stomps Truth until Oba Femi's music hits, as he makes his way back to ring side. When Oba gets on the ring apron, Miz tries to escape on the other side of the ring; however, Truth trips him, and Oba picks him up, hitting a double-handed chokeslam on Miz, as the WWE universe cheers loudly. Oba gets on the mic, saying that he's declaring himself for the Royal Rumble tomorrow night. R Truth says that he is as well, as Truth hugs Oba tightly, before falling to his knees worshipping him, calling Oba Black Jesus.
Commentators can't control their laughter, as they say that something is going on backstage in William's office, as the cameras make their way backstage.
Backstage, in front of William's office, Alpha Academy, Fraxiom, the Creed Brothers, and the Motor City Machine Guns are all arguing. William comes out asking what the hell is going on. All four teams start talking at the same time. William yells for them to shut the hell up. He says he understands their frustrations as the tag team division has been underutilized recently, and he is aware of that. He tells them to go to the ring because there will be a fatal four-way tornado tag team match next, and the winning team will get a title opportunity against the Tongas. All four teams look determined, as commentators hype the match next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Commentators hype the impromptu tag team match made by William before the break, as cameras show the Tongas looking on backstage.
Immediately after the match, Bron Breakker storms through the backstage area. He grabs a security guard by the shirt, asking where Paul Heyman is. The guard says he doesn't know. Bron throws him aside and storms off. A faint lantern reflection appears in a nearby mirror. Bron stops and stares at it. Then it disappears.
Commentators hype the rivalry between Jordynne Grace and Jade Cargill. Backstage, Jade Cargill is preparing for her match when she notices a camera. Jade looks directly into the camera, addressing Jordynne, telling her that a storm is coming her way and if she doesn't get out of the way, the storm is going to blow her away. Jade finishes saying that she's that bitch, and every woman in the back better know it. Diamond White walks up with her United States championship. She doesn't say anything, just winks at Jade before walking away. Jade doesn't look impressed as commentators hype Jade ve Jordynne in a non-title match, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the match, Jordynne grabs a table from underneath the ring, spearing Jade into the table; commentators wonder what has gotten into Jordynne. Jordynne says that the storm is coming to an end, and a rainbow is on the horizon as she poses with the Women's championship over a hurt Jade Cargill.
CM Punk is walking backstage when Bron Breakker runs into him. They stare each other down. Punk smirks. Punk says, "You look like you’re losing control.” Bron growls. Bron Breakker says, “You worry about your own problems.” Officials quickly step between them before anything escalates.
Commentators hype the rivalry between Matt Cardona and Trick Williams, with Trick picking up the win in the first match by pretending to walk away from the match and sucker punching Cardona, as well as Trick leaving Cardona last week in their tag team match to face the Wyatt Sicks on his own. Commentators say this rivalry is heating up as Explosion goes to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Backstage, Kiana James is helping Nikki Bella and Giulia prepare for their tag team title defense tonight. AJ Lee walks up, as does Natalya, and Maxxine Dupri. AJ Lee doesn't say anything before she smiles and starts skipping away. Natalya and Maxxine Dupri follow behind, motioning for the tag team titles.
During the match, Trick purposely knocked out the referee so he could use a jendo stick to get the upperhand over Matt Cardona. After the match, Trick stomps a mudhole into Cardona until referees and security stop him.
Commentators hype the main event next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, Matt Cardona is backstage yelling for Trick Williams. Trick walks up saying that he got on his lemon pepper steppas, after whooping that trick, so there's no need to hide! Cardona tells Trick that he has to constantly cheat to beat him. Trick laughs, saying that if Cardona can't keep up, maybe he should retire. Matt gets face-to-face with Trick before security breaks things up. Cardona tells Trick that this is far from over. Trick nods, adding, You damn right it is.
Commentators say they can't wait for Cardona and Trick to get their hands on each other again.

Cody Rhodes will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight and Jake Silva in a Triple Threat match

After the match, the arena lights suddenly shut off into total darkness. The crowd goes silent. A lantern glow appears on the titantron. The camera cuts to a dark hallway. Paul Heyman is sitting in a chair; Uncle Howdy stands behind him. Heyman whispers, “I warned them… chaos was coming”, as Uncle Howdy slowly raises the lantern. Howdy says, “Chaos doesn't come”, as he leans toward the camera, adding, "It spreads.” The arena lights suddenly come back on, but Paul Heyman and Uncle Howdy are gone again. The titantron goes black. Michael Cole quietly says, “Something bigger is happening”, as
Explosion fades to black.
