William makes his way to the ring as he opens up Explosion. He says that he won't waste time tonight, saying that Explosion is supposed to be the land of opportunity, but lately it's been hijacked by one man and his hired henchmen. Paul Heyman comes out. Before he can say anything, William tells Paul Heyman that he's tired of listening to Heyman spew lies week-after-week. Heyman says that William doesn't run Explosion, but fear does. William looks confused. Heyman adds that his clients, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, are the future of the industry, and until William does the right thing and gives Bron another championship match against CM Punk, then Explosion will burn to the ground. William says that's not happening, saying the Breakker had his chance and now it's time for someone else to get an opportunity. William tells Heyman that Breakker will have to earn a title shot because he's at the back of the line in his book. Heyman says that Breakker will do that when he wins the Royal Rumble, saying Breakker and Bronson Reed are the first two people declared for the Rumble. William smiles, saying, Tell them I said Congratu-Damn-Lations. Heyman says that William will pay for his arrogance, telling William that from now on, locker room doors will be kicked down, superstars flattened, and nothing but chaos until there's nothing left but his clients standing tall. William says, I guess we'll just have to do this the hard way, as he throws the mic down and his music hits as he walks up the ramp, past Heyman, looking pissed as Heyman looks unfazed.
Commentators wonder what those threats by Paul Heyman mean as they try to bring the focus back to the show, recapping the rivalry between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, as well as the Street Profits and the Tongas. Commentators hype the 6-man tag match next!

After the break, William is in his office, as Trick Williams walks in. William looks around, looking confused. Trick asks what's wrong with William. William says, You may not know how things run around here, but you don't walk your pimp-looking ass up in my office without knocking. Trick apologizes, saying he's excited to be on Explosion and make a real impact. William nods, saying that's why he entered Williams into the Royal Rumble. Trick smiles hard, nodding in approval. William says that next week, Trick will get the chance to prove to the Explosion fans that he's not all hype, saying he'll make his Explosion debut next week against another new Explosion superstar, as William points behind Trick Williams. When Trick turns around, the WWE universe is excited for the return of Matt Cordona. Trick doesn't seem impressed as Matt winks, shakes William's hand, and walks away. Trick smirks, saying, "That's easy work, as he starts to walk away. William stops him, saying, From now on, you knock before you walk into my office, or you'll regret ever disrespecting me like that again". Trick takes a deep breath, as he nods, and walks away.
Commentators hype Trick Williams vs Matt Cordona for next week's show.
After the match, as Fatu and the Street Profits celebrate, Solo stares at Fatu from ringside, furious and humiliated. Fatu sees Solo and mouths: "You're next." The Tongas help Solo up the ramp, as commentators hope that William runs back Solo Sikoa vs Jacob Fatu again!
Meanwhile, Jade Cargill storms backstage with her title over her shoulder. Looking into the camera, Jade says that she doesn't lose and she doesn't carry dead weight. Jade says a couple of weeks ago, she trusted Nikki Cross, and look what happened, she let me down. Jade says that's why she doesn't trust people, because they can't hold a light to her talent. Jade says she's done playing with these irrelevant bitches, saying if Nikki wants to be relevant again, she can try to survive her tonight.
Commentators say that William made the match official earlier tonight, as they hype the match next!

Backstage, Chelsea Green knocks on William's door. When she walks in, he rolls his eyes to the back of his head, asking Chelsea what the hell she wants. Chelsea says that she is trying to understand why she is teaming with Kiana James tonight against B Fab and Diamond White. William says that since Chelsea is done with Tiffany Stratton, "for now", and Kiana James seems to have Chelsea's back, he thought he would let them face another duo who have each other's back, B Fab and Diamond White. Chelsea says they have nothing to do with her, so he should just cancel the match. William smirks, saying that Chelsea better get used to competing because in this new year, every champion will have to prove themselves and Chelsea starts proving her worth tonight. Chelsea squeals in frustration as William motions for her to get out of his office.
Commentators say that William is not playing tonight, as they recap the tag team match featuring B Fab and Diamond White against Jade Cargill and Nikki Cross from a couple of weeks ago!
After the match, Jordynne Grace comes into the ring, staring Jade Cargill down. Jordynne says that Jade talking about dead weight is hilarious because all she sees is a champion who is running out of excuses. Jade asks Jordynne if she thinks she's ready for the world title. Jordynne tells Jade that she knows she is. Jade smirks saying, then take your shot, as she raises the title over her head, with Jordynne looking determined.
Commentators can't wait for Jade to face Jordynne down the line.
Backstage, Alester Black is shown rubbing his championship with Zelina Vega rubbing his chest. Aleister says that he has some things to say as he makes his way to the ring.

In the ring, after the break, Aleister Black says that it was unfortunate what happened to Ilja Dragunov, adding that Ilja will be out of action for at least 3 months, as the WWE universe boos loudly. Aleister says that the WWE universe shouldn't worry because he will keep the legacy of the previous champions and defend the championship regularly. Aleister says that he won't be issuing open challenges, but if anyone wants to step to him tonight, he's feeling generous. Immediately, Dragon Lee's music hits, as he makes his way to the ring. Dragon Lee says that Aleister Black is a coward who should be taught a lesson, as he says he wants to face Aleister Black right now. Aleister smirks, saying that he will defend his championship against Dragon Lee right now.
Commentators hope that William will make the match official.

After the break, commentators announce that William made the match official during the commercial break for the United States championship.
After the match, Aleister Black hits the Black Mass on Dragon Lee again with the LWO rushing in the ring, running Black off.
Backstage, cameras catch Nia Jax and Lash Legend preparing for their tag team number one contenders' match against the Judgment Day later tonight.
Meanwhile, as Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez prepare for the match, they are shocked to see Liv Morgan. Liv says that she stopped by to wish her girls good luck, saying she missed them. Roxanne asks if Liv has signed with Warriors? Liv says that she hasn't decided where she will sign, but says that when she wins the Royal Rumble, that may help her decide. Roxanne and Raquel look at each other, with Liv catching the drift. Liv says that both of them have the same chance to win as she does, but says that they don't need to worry about that tonight, saying they have a match to win so they can become the new tag team champions. Raquel and Roxanne nod, walking away, as Liv looks mischievously, biting her fingernail, watching Raquel and Roxanne walk away.
Commentators wonder if Liv will come over to Explosion with her so-called best friends or go to Warriors with her man, Dirty Dominik Mysterio.
Commentators hype the tag team number one contenders match later tonight as well as the tag match between Kiana James and Chelsea Green versus B Fab and Diamond White coming up next!

After the break, Zelina Vega is celebrating with Aleister Black as they walk up on the LWO. Rey Mysterio sees the duo asking Zelina Vega what has gotten into her. Zelina thanks Rey for all he taught her, but says that she needed to drop the dead weight that was the LWO to come over with a real man, who could take her places. Rey shakes his head as Joaquin Wilde steps in front of Rey, looking Aleister directly in his eyes, challenging Aleister to a match next week. Aleister laughs, saying you're on pip-squeak, as Zelina and Aleister laugh, as they walk away.
Backstage, William has Carmelo Hayes, The Miz, Ace Young, Sheamus, Mohammad Rabid, and Santos Escobar in his office. They all wonder what they're doing there together. William says that after reviewing his roster, he realized that Carmelo and Miz have history, Ace and Sheamus have recently been feuding, as well as Mohammad and Santos. He says that even though all of them are talented, they've been in limbo lately; therefore, next week, there will be a 6-man elimination battle royal, and the winner of that match will get the number 30 spot in the Royal Rumble. All 6 men look excited as William says, This year, we're making an impact.
Commentators gush about how epic an opportunity that is for all 6 men next week!
Commentators recap Nikki Bella and Giulia winning the WWE Women's Tag Team championships last week, as they recap the altercation between the Judgment Day and Lashl and Nia. They hype the number one contenders' match, next!

After the break, Jordynne Grace is gathering her things in the women's locker room. Kiana James walks up, telling Jordynne that she could use her services to ensure that she wins the WWE Women's championship against Jade Cargill when they finally fight for the title. Jordynne says she doesn't need help. Kiana says look at her resume. Chelsea Green is now the Women's United States champion again, and Nikki Bella and Giulia are the Women's Tag Team champions. Kiana tells Jordynne to just imagine if she lets her be her business manager and she becomes the WWE Women's champion. Jordynne says that she said she's good. Kiana says Excuse me. You need me to be relevant, not the other way around. Jordynne says Excuse me. Kiana starts to walk away; however, Jordynna grabs her, saying we'll see about being relevant when I whoop your ass next week. Kiana seems shaken, as commentators wonder if William will make the match official.
Backstage, Nikki Bella and Giulia are seen looking at the monitors, not impressed by Judgment Day winning. Natalya and Maxxine Dupri walk up, saying they just talked to William, and next week, Nikki and Giulia will defend those tag team titles against them. Nikki wonders why they deserve a chance. Maxxine says, well we beat you at New Year's Revolution, and secondly, because William says his champions are going to be fighting champs, and your proof that you're the best women's tag team starts next week against us. Nikki and Giulia look pissed, as Natalya and Maxxine grab hands, walking away happy!
Commentators hype the match next week.
Backstage, Paul Heyman is hyping up Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Bron is pissed he's having to team with the man who is getting the shot he deserves in Shinsuke Nakamura. Heyman says that he understands Breakker's frustration; Bron needs to play this smart. He tells Bron to let Shinsuke soften Punk up more, saying that after that, CM Punk will be easy pickings for you. Bron starts smiling.

Before the match can start, William on the titantron announces that this match if now a 3 on 3, elimination tag team match.
After the match, the Wolfpack and Shinsuke Nakamura attack CM Punk, when Damian Priest and Randy Orton rush back out to make the save.
All 6 men brawl as Paul Heyman stares into the camera, saying, "I told you, BOSS. Chaos has arrived", laughing hysterically and mischievously.
Suddenly, the arena lights flicker. Commentators are mid-sentence, trying to describe everything that's going on in the middle of the ring. The audio cuts out. A low, distorted hum fills the arena. The titantron starts glitching and then comes to life. Footage on the titantron shows:
Cameras abruptly cut backstage, where Paul Heyman is watching the monitor. For the first time all night, Paul Heyman looks uncomfortable. The titantron continues to flicker as Heyman slowly turns around, but nothing is there, and the 6 men fighting in the ring stop and look around. The lights in the arena go off, and when they come back on, Uncle Howdy is behind Heyman, with his lantern swinging back and forth. Uncle Howdy doesn't say anything at first but starts rubbing Paul Heyman's bald head, saying, "We're not here to fight, yet. We're here to watch the chaos". The lights go back off, and when they come back on, the 6 men in the ring are gone, as well as Uncle Howdy, as everyone in the arena is scared senseless.
Commentators are confused as Michael Cole says, "I don't know what all that was about, but no one on Explosion should feel safe", as Explosion fades to black!
