As soon as Explosion starts, a black SUV pulls into the arena. The crowd erupts when Roman Reigns steps out in a black tracksuit. Roman barely shuts the door when CM Punk attacks him from behind. The crowd loses it. Punk blasts Roman with a road case lid. Roman fires back with uppercuts. Punk smashes Roman into the SUV.
Roman throws Punk onto the hood. Security rushes out immediately. Punk grabs a nearby steel pipe and swings wildly. Roman ducks and spears Punk into production crates. The camera shakes. Officials rush out screaming. William storms outside, furious. William storms out, screaming, "Enough", as security barely separates Roman and Punk. William gets in both their faces, saying, “If either one of you puts your hands on the other tonight…” He points at Punk. “I will strip you of the WWE Championship.” He then points at Roman. “And I'll strip you of your WrestleMania title shot.” The WWE universe gasps. Roman and Punk are still trying to break free. William screams, "Try me!" Roman and Punk have a long, tense stare, but both men back away; however, neither one stops staring at the other.
Commentators are shocked by how the show just started as Explosion finally officially starts.
After Michael Cole officially welcomes everyone to the show, he recaps the altercation between the women's tag team division from last week, which has led to the three qualifying matches tonight. Corey Graves hypes the first match, the Diamond Mine (Diamond White and B-Fab) vs the newly formed team of Nikki Cross and Zelina Vega.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Commentators and the WWE universe are slightly shocked by the match's results.
Meanwhile, backstage, Solo Sikoa approaches Jacob Fatu, who is still bruised from the cage match. Solo tells Jacob that he might have won the battle in the steel cage match, but the war is far from over. Fatu says, “You keep saying war…” He points at Solo’s bruises, “…but you keep losing fights.” The WWE universe erupts. Before Solo can answer, Rey Mysterio walks up. Rey says, “I just came to say you two tore the house down last week.” Solo slowly turns, irritated. Solo asks Rey if he's trying to be funny. Rey looks confused. Rey says, “No. I’m giving respect where it’s due.” Solo gets in Rey's face, bending down saying, "Little man, you better worry about YOUR problems… like Aleister Black.”
Suddenly, Aleister Black SMASHES Rey in the back with a steel chair. Jacob instantly lunges to grab Aleister; however, Solo grabs him from behind and hits him with a Samoan Spike. Jacob collapses. Aleister stomps Rey repeatedly. Officials rush in. Security floods the hallway. William storms in, immediately saying, "Not this s**t again," adding, "That's enough." He points aggressively. William says, “Tonight’s main event will be Solo and Aleister vs Rey and Jacob.” The WWE universe erupts as William demands security to separate everybody immediately.
Michael Cole hypes the main event. Cameras show Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar walking towards the ring, as commentators wonder what they have to say, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
In the ring, after the break, Paul Heyman is standing beside Brock Lesnar. Heyman is still looking traumatized. Heyman says, “Uncle Howdy…” He swallows hard. “On behalf of Brock Lesnar… he challenges you to a match.” The WWE universe cheers. Brock smirks. Brock snatches the mic from Heyman, yelling at the camera, "Howdy, you wanted my advocate. You wanted my attention." He cracks his neck, saying, "Well, you got it." Lesnar and Heyman walk away, as commentators wonder how Howdy will respond.
Commentators recap the altercation between Dragon Lee and Santos Escobar last week, which has led to the next match for the United States championship.
After the match, Rey Fenix comes out to check on Dragon Lee. Dragon Lee assures Rey Fenix that he is fine. Rey looks relieved, however cameras catch Rey Fenix eyeing the United States championship.
Cameras show Melissa Lucas preparing for an interview with Jackie Redman. Byron Saxton hypes the interview, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, Melissa Lucas is being interviewed backstage. Jackie asks Melissa how she feels about her upcoming match with Jade Cargill at Wrestlemania. Melissa says she doesn't think about that match with Jade because Jade is a non-factor. Melissa says that she already knows that she will win at Wrestlemania and there's no doubt about that.
Jade Cargill interrupts, slow clapping. Jade says, “Non-factor? Bitch, I am the IT FACTOR.” Jade gets in Melissa's face, telling her that she had better put some respect on her name. Jade then puts the title in Melissa's face, adding, "If you need a reminder, then here it is." Melissa looks Jade up and down, telling Jade, "You keep saying you're that bitch, but let's be honest, you won that title against an injured Tiffany Stratton, and you've defended it about 3 times since then. Yeah, you're a bitch, just not that bitch." Jade looks furious as she slaps Melissa and yanks the protein drink out of Jackie's hand, and pours it all over Melissa. The WWE universe boos loudly. Jade says, "Oops." Melissa snaps, but Jade walks away laughing before she can attack her.
Commentators recap the match from earlier tonight featuring the Diamond Mine and Zelina and Nikki, as they hype the Dungeon vs the Judgment Day.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Backstage, after the break, Diamond White enters the women’s locker room. It’s dark.
Too dark. Diamond flips the switch on, and Nikki Cross is standing in front of the counter, smiling in front of a mirror that has lipstick smeared all over it.
Nikki slowly points toward the title belt and starts laughing eerily. She then plops on the floor and starts rocking, pulling her hair out, and slapping herself. Diamond looks rattled.
Nikki starts laughing uncontrollably. The lights start to flicker, then they go out for a few seconds. When they come back on, Nikki is gone.
Commentators are freaked out once again by Nikki, as they recap the altercation between Damian Priest and Ace Young after Ace and the Miz lost to R Truth and Oba Femi last week.
Backstage, R-Truth walks up to Oba Femi. Truth says, “Black Jesus…,” as he shakes Oba’s hand. “Thank you for getting rid of White Jesus.” Oba looks amused. Oba says, "You're welcome". Truth tells Oba, “You beat him so bad he's fighting The Undertaker now.” Oba's expression changes to confusion. Truth then whispers, "Undertaker looks Puerto-Rican now though." Oba sighs, patting Truth on the head and then walking away. Moments later, the Miz attacks Truth from behind. Miz throws Truth into a wall and then starts punching him repeatedly. Truth starts bleeding. Miz screams, "Not even Jesus can save you from me." The WWE universe boos loudly. Security rushes up, screaming for Miz to stop. Oba runs back as he sees Truth bloodied. Miz runs away, and Oba is furious as medics check on Truth.
Commentators say they'll keep the WWE universe updated on R Truth's condition, as they hype Ace Young vs Damian Priest!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Before the match can begin, the referee is knocked out, which allows Ace Young to attack Damian Priest with a steel chair. During the match, Ace purposedly knocks out the referee again, attacking Damian with that same steel chair and also hitting Priest with the Last Ride on the chair, helping him pick up the victory.
After the match, Priest is visibly upset that he lost, kicking the announcers desk and the steel steps around ring side.
Backstage, a stagehand rushes to Carmelo Hayes. The stage hand tells Carmelo, "Yo! Somebody messed with your car!” Carmelo instantly takes off running. Cameras follows him outside. When Carmelo gets to his car, it's completely fine. Carmelo is confused. Suddenly, Trick Williams attacks Carmelo from behind with a pipe. Trick throws Carmelo onto the hood, then into concrete barriers. Carmelo tries to fight back but Trick smashes a trash can over his head and powerbombs him into the windshield as it shatters. Trick says, “They don’t call me Trick Willy for no reason!” Carmelo then rolls off the car, as Trick looks down at his shoes. Trick says, “Damn… I messed up my lemon pepper steppas.” He stomps Carmelo one more time before walking off laughing.
Commentators are worried about Melo, as they try to hype the final Wrestlemania Women's Tag Team championship qualifying match, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Backstage, Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae are talking. Johnny says, “I’m getting real tired of Matt Cardona.” Chelsea Green suddenly rolls into frame in her wheelchair, rolling way too fast, rolling into Candice. Chelsea says, "Beep beep losers." Chelsea has sunglasses on ors and a giant bedazzled boot on her foot. Chelsea says, “Oh my God, are we filming another episode of People Who Peaked In NXT?” Candice rolls her eyes, asking Chelsea if she's done. Chelsea says, “Candice, sweetheart… You look exhausted.” Chelsea pauses, adding, “Marriage must be hard when your husband loses all the time.” The WWE universe says, "Oooohhhh". Candice starts to kick Chelsea in her bad foot. Chelsea screams in pain, clutching her chest, saying, “Somebody help. She's attacking the disabled!” Chelsea starts fake crying.
She starts fake crying. Chelsea screams for Matt Cardona. Matt walks up. Chelsea says, "Did you see what that wannabe fairy did to me?" Cardona walks up, eating chips. Matt said, "I saw. And I'd be miserable too if I were married to someone who looked like a substitute teacher." The WWE universe laughs. Johnny tries to attack, but Cardona throws the chips in Johnny’s face. He then smashes Johnny with one of Chelsea’s crutches. Johnny drops hard. Candice swings at Matt; Chelsea suddenly zooms forward in the wheelchair, running over Candice's foot again. Candice screams. Chelsea starts laughing. Cardona throws Gargano into a stack of crates using Johnny's hair. Matt screams, “You know what your problem is, Johnny? You still think people care about Johnny Wrestling.” Candice jumps on Matt's back. Chelsea hits Candice with a crutch, grabbing her by the hair. Gargano spears Cardona into the catering table, as food goes everywhere. Chelsea then takes a tray of nachos and cheese, throwing it into Candice's face. Security rushes up, separating everybody. William walks up, seeing the chaos. He doesn't say anything, he just shakes his head and walks away.
Commentators say things are getting very nasty between these two couples. Michael Cole says, “This is absolute madness backstage!” Corey Graves adds, “I don’t even know who to blame anymore!”
Byron Saxton recaps the previous two tag team qualifying matches from earlier tonight, as he hypes the Bellas vs Kiana James and Giulia, next!
The Bellas make their entrances.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Corey Graves hypes The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) vs the Bellas (Nikki and Brie) vs the Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez) vs Zelina Vega and Nikki Cross for the WWE Women's Tag Team championships at Wrestlemania.
Michael Cole says he is being told in his ear that Uncle Howdy is backstage, in a broiler room, to address Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar.
Cameras catch Brock and Heyman watching a monitor in Brock’s locker room.
Static hits the monitor. The broiler room footage appears. Uncle Howdy steps forward.
Lantern glowing. Uncle Howdy says, “Brock Lesnar… I accept." Howydy then pauses. “But under MY conditions.” The lantern swings. Howdy says, "Lesnar, I want you in a casket match." The WWE universe goes wild. Heyman looks horrified as cameras put Howdy on one side and Lesnar and Heyman on the other side of a split screen. Howdy adds, "If Brock loses, not only will Brock enter the casket… but …Paul Heyman will be buried alive.” Heyman looks pale. Howdy finishes saying, "And I.... take his soul …and make it whole again.” Monitor cuts out. Heyman is terrified. Brock starts laughing, telling Heyman, who looks confused, “Don’t worry, Paul.” He cracks his neck. “They should be afraid for THEIR souls.”

After the break, Michael Cole says that Wrestlemania is shaping up to be one of the biggest ever as he hypes the announced matches so far:

Backstage, Roman Reigns is making his way to the ring. William stops him, reminding Roman about his stipulation in regards to Roman and CM Punk putting their hands on each other. Roman says he understands, winking at William saying, "We just need to talk." William throws his hands up and walks away as commentators wonder if Roman and CM Punk will be able to keep their hands off of each other!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, Roman Reigns comes out. Before he can say anything, CM Punk's music hits as he makes his way to the ring. The tension is nuclear. Cameras show William watching from the gorilla position, surrounded by security guards and police. Roman says, “You’re barely standing.” He smirks. “And somehow still stupid enough to think you can actually beat me.” Punk laughs. Punk says, “You know what scares you most?” He points at Roman. “That I don’t need a Bloodline to stay relevant.” The crowd erupts. Roman steps forward, but stops himself, smirking as he steps back slightly. William is still watching closely. Roman says, “You keep talking about family…” His expression darkens. “You got a lot to say for somebody who keeps disappointing his.” The crowd reacts loudly. Punk’s face changes. Roman smirks, adding, "You wanna talk about my blood?” He points at Punk. “At least mine still answers my calls.” The crowd gasps. Punk takes a step forward, but stops. William, who is now standing on the stage, looks intently. Punk shakes with rage. Punk says, “You hide behind family because without them… You're nothing." Roman says, “And yet… Even though you are still champion, everybody knows that you're just keeping MY title warm, and you'll always be the red-headed stepchild, in MY company." Punk smirks, adding, "Your title? Your company? Everybody knows, you haven't been nearly as important since your chairman daddy was forced to step down." The WWE universe is shocked, as Punk says, "And at Wrestlemania, everyone will see that by yourself, you're just a talentless bitch who needed help throughout his career to be relevant." Roman is getting pissed as Punk finishes with, "Ask Seth. Ask Dean. Ask Heyman. Ask Jey. Ask Jimmy. Ask Sami. Ask Solo. Ask the Rock." as Punk throws the microphone down and Punk rolls out of the ring, holding his title high, as Roman storms around the ring pissed. The WWE universe chants loudly. Both men want to fight, as they stare each other down, and Explosion ends with absolute tension filling the arena.
