Explosion kicks off in an empty locker room, except for a duffel bag on a bench. The zipper is already open. Inside the bag is designer sunglasses. A gloved hand reaches in, takes them, and sets them on the bench—carefully. The camera zooms. A sticky note is placed on top:
Cameras fade to black as the show offically starts.
Michael Cole welcomes everyone to Explosion, as the Wyatt Sicks music hits. They slowly make their way to the ring, as the lights turn down in the arena. Once in the ring, Uncle Howdy stands mid-ring with the lantern. Uncle Howdy says, “Some men conquer with strength… some with fear… and some with myth.” He lifts the lantern. Howdy adds, "Brock Lesnar… you built a kingdom on all three, but every kingdom ends the same way. Torn down and burnt to the ground when its ruler loses control.” Howdy looks into the camera, tilting his head, finishing up by saying, “Come look into the darkness, Brock.” The lights go out, with echoes of Howdy laughing ringing throughout the arena. Moments later, the lights come back on, and the ring is empty.
Michael Cole says that he doesn't like how tonight has started. Meanwhile, Byron Saxton recaps Nikki Cross becoming number one contender, as he hypes the Women's United States championship match coming up next.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the match, Diamond raises the title, gesturing to the WWE universe. When she turns around, Nikki Cross is sitting on the apron… clapping slowly. Nikki slithers close to Diamond, saying, "Hold it tight, because soon it'll be mine." Nikki kisses the faceplate of the title and laughs, backing away. Diamond looks freaked out as she rolls out the ring. As she walks up the ramp, Nikki is sitting in the middle of the ring, rocking back and forth and laughing hysterically.
Backstage, cameras are following Melissa Lucas, who is walking with purpose. Melissa turns a corner and suddenly stops. Cameras pan to show Jade Cargill, with her championship over her shoulder. Jade stares at Melissa intently, not saying a word. Melissa slowly steps forward until they’re face-to-face. Still no words. Crowd noise hums in the background from the arena. Jade finally breaks the silence, saying, “So you’re the one they keep talking about.” Melissa doesn’t flinch. Melissa Lucas says, "And you're the one they keep hyping.” Jade smirks slightly. Jade says, “They’re not hyping me.” She adjusts the title on her shoulder. “They’re warning you.” Melissa glances at the championship, then back at Jade. Melissa adds, “I don’t scare easily.” Jade steps closer.
Now there’s no space between them. Jade says, “You will.” There's a moment of silence between the two, as neither woman backs down. A production assistant nervously tries to squeeze past them, but they don’t move. He runs in the opposite direction. Melissa leans in slightly, saying, “Good. I didn’t come here to avoid you…” Melissa taps the title lightly, adding, “…I came here for that.” Jade smiles, saying, "Over my dead body." Melissa smirks, saying, "My pleasure," as she walks past Jade, bumping her shoulder. Jade doesn't move; she just turns her head slightly, watching Melissa walk away.
Michael Cole says, “…that right there felt like the beginning of something BIG.”
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Meanwhile, Corey Graves discusses an altercation between Natalya and Maxxine Dupri, who are arguing with Lash Legend and Nia Jax. Natalya is overheard saying, “You don’t run anything here—” Lash Legend smirks, saying, "These tag team titles tell us something different". Natalya rolls her eyes. Nia calls Natalya, a geriatric cat lady, who is way past her prime. Natalya slaps Nia. Lash pushes Natalya into a wall. When Maxxine goes to check on Natalya, Nia pushes her through a curtain rack. William, who is walking by tells the ladies to save it for the ring later tonight. Nia and Lash laugh as Maxxine and Natalya try to help each other to their feet.
In real time, Dragon Lee is in the ring, celebrating with the WWE universe. He says that there's not much he agreed with when it came to Aleister Black, but says being a fighting champion is something he very much respected. Dragon Lee issues an open challenge to anyone in the back who wants a chance at his United States championship.
Moments later, Shinsuke Nakamura's music hits, as he slowly makes his way to the ring.
The match gets underway.

After the match, Aleister Black stands on top of the ramp, motioning for his title back.
Backstage, Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae are mid-interview, telling Jackie Redman that they are here to make an impact and prove to the world why they're the greatest wrestling couple of all-time, adding that's why they are called Mr and Mrs Wrestling. Matt Cardona slow-claps from behind. Chelsea Green, who has a boot on her foot and is in a wheelchair, says, “Oh, good, the ‘we deserve it’ tour.” Candice bends down to face Chelsea, saying, “You talk a lot for someone who keeps getting carried.” Chelsea laughs, telling Candice that she gets results. Johnny cuts in, telling Chelsea that she gets lucky. Cardona smiles before getting serious, warning Johnny not to talk to his wife that way. Johnny gets in Matt Cardona's face; however, before he can say anything, Matt says, "The first time we wrestled, you were the one who got lucky, but next week, your luck runs out." Cardona pushes Chelsea down the hall, as Gargano and Candice look at each other, seemingly annoyed with Cardona and Green.
Commentators hypes the match between Natayla and Maxxine Dupri vs Nia Jax and Lash Legend, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Backstage, after the break, Dragon Lee is packing up his stuff. Mohammad Rabid walks up, congratulating him on winning the United States Championship. Dragon Lee seems honored. Mohammad says that he has to confess, he has a reason for approaching Dragon Lee, adding that he wants to accept Dragon Lee's open challenge for next week. Lee looks confused, saying he hasn't issued an open challenge yet, but tells Mohammad he's on. Mohammad smiles, saying he'll see Dragon next week, as they shake hands and Mohammad walks out of the locker room. As soon as Dragon Lee turns around, Aleister Black hits him with the Black Mass, leaving him laid out, as Zelina grabs Dragon Lee by the face, telling him to enjoy his moment while he can, because Aleister is coming for his title; soon, Dragon Lee will not only fade to black but also fade back into obscurity. Zelina and Aleister laugh as they walk away, with Dragon Lee rolling around in pain.
After the match, Nia and Lash don’t stop when the bell rings. They drag Maxxine up as Lash drills her. Natalya tries to pull Nia off, but gets flattened. Lash grabs a camera, saying, "What division?" There is no division.” Lash points to the titles, adding, "It's just us… and the rest don't matter.” Nia and Lash hold their titles over a beaten Natalya and Maxxine.
Michael Cole recaps the awesome tables match last week between Fraxiom and the Creed Brothers, who won last week, and the Motor City Machine Guns. Byron Saxton hypes the triple threat tornado tag team 2 out of 3 falls match, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Backstage, after the break, R-Truth stands between Oba Femi and Ace Young. R-Truth says, “Black Jesus… meet White Jesus.” Ace looks at Truth, very seriously, saying, “Names don’t matter. Actions do.” Oba Femi says, “Then act on it.” The Miz barges in, saying, “I am the only star in this conversation—” Oba steps closer. Miz backs up… bumping into a crate, as he tries to save face. Miz adds, “—and I’m choosing not to engage.” Truth nods, telling the Miz, he's finally growing up and getting smarter. Ace and Oba stare each other down, as R Truth looks on in amazement. Kit Wilson walks up, looking at both men. He doesn't say anything for a few moments before saying, "TOXIC." Kit walks away as both Oba and Ace Young stare at Kit. Miz walks away, as R Truth bows down, saying he's going to worship Black Jesus because Black Don't Crack.
Commentators are interested in seeing Ace Young take on Oba Femi at some point in WWE.
After the match, all 3 teams start brawling around ringside, eventually fighting in the crowd. William runs out, demanding that security break things up. Eventually, security is able to separate the teams, as William says last week, the Creed Brothers won the tables match, tonight Fraxiom won the 2 out of 3 falls match and next week, all 3 teams will battle in a triple threat elimination street fight, as the WWE universe goes wild.
Commentators love that idea, as they praise the heart of the Explosion tag team division, saying they have gone out the last couple of weeks and proved why the tag team division in WWE is far from dead, as they hype the street fight between the 3 teams next week.
Backstage, Melissa Lucas is walking when Kiana James stops her, welcoming her to Explosion. Kiana gives Melissa a business card, telling her that she could use her managerial services. Melissa looks at Kiana up and down, and then looks at the business card, before ripping it up and starting to walk away. Kiana, who is pissed, says Excuse me, who the hell do you think you are? Melissa laughs, saying, "The woman whose going to kick your ass right now." Melissa walks away, telling Kiana to meet her in the ring now!
Commentators wonder if William is going to make the match official!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the match, Kiana James and Giulia jump on Melissa. They stomp her repeatedly. Suddenly, the Bella Twins rush out making the save, as the WWE universe goes wild. The Bellas, Kiana and Giulia, battle up the ramp, leaving Melissa in the ring. As Melissa looks at the fight between the teams, Jade Cargill rushes the ring, through the WWE universe, kicking Melissa in her face as soon as she turns around. Jade then hits Jaded on Melissa, standing over her, holding the title high.
Commentators wonder how Melissa will retaliate after this attack from Jade.
Commentators recap the altercation between CM Punk and Trick Williams last week, which has led to the main event.
Backstage, Trick Williams is asked by Jackie Redman if he's ready for CM Punk. Trick laughs, saying that he stays ready so he doesn't have to get ready. He says that Jackie can see his lemon pepper steppas, and tonight, if CM Punk doesn't get in line, he's going to feel them all in his ass. Trick says, Pause, before saying, Punk after I whoop your trick ass tonight, I'll get me a title shot and become WWE champion heading into Wrestlemania.
Commentators hype the main event.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Backstage, after the break, Carmelo Hayes is in the locker room. He opens up his locker, and inside it is a phone playing on a loop. A voice, muffled, says, "You trusted me, and that was your first mistake." Carmelo pauses; the sunglasses from earlier sit on the shelf.
He picks them up. Looks down the hallway — and someone walks past in the reflection. Carmelo runs towards the shadow; however, when he reaches the hallway, there's no one there. Carmelo looks pissed, as commentators wonder whose playing mind games on Carmelo.
Corey Graves hypes the matches for next week's show:

Backstage, Nia Jax and Lash Legend are gloating about beating up Natalya and Maxxine Dupri. Diamond White and B Fab walk up, saying that what they did was cowardly and low. Nia asks what they're going to do about it. Diamond says she has an idea: how about they beat some respect into them next week? Nia and Lash start laughing, saying, "We'll see about that". Nia and Lash walk away, as B Fab and Diamond White look determined. When Diamond and Fab turn around to walk away, Nikki Cross is standing there and starts laughing hysterically. She then sits on the ground and starts rocking, as Diamond and B Fab, who are weirded out, walk away, looking at Nikki closely.
Commentators announce that William has already made Nia and Lash vs Diamond and B Fab official next week, as Corey Graves hypes the main event, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
During the match, Roman Reigns comes out, distracting and attacking Punk, giving Trick the upper hand. Trick also intentionally took out the referee in order to use a kendo stick to seal the deal on his win against Punk.
After the match, Punk tries to get to his feet as Roman Reigns’ music hits. Roman sprints to the ring, spearing Punk. Roman mounts Punk, punching him repeatedly, busting Punk open. Referees flood into the ring; however, Roman throws them out. Roman drags Punk up, spearing him again. The WWE universe is stunned. Punk manages to grab the ropes and stand up, hitting Roman with a forearm, which doesn't faze Roman. Roman hits the Superman punch on Punk, as he wipes Punk's blood on his chest. Security rushes out, however Roman dispatches them all as well. Punk, who has rolled out of the ring, is standing against the barricade as Roman runs around the ring, spearing Punk through the barricade as medics rush out to check on Punk. Medics put Roman on a stretcher as they roll him up the ramp. Roman stops the medics, throwing them away from Punk before he repeatedly punches Punk, who is tied to the stretcher. Roman breaks Punk free from the stretcher locks, spearing Punk off the ramp, onto a table as he does his signature pose, as Punk lies motionless below the ramp. Michael Cole says that since Trick Williams just beat CM Punk, next week he'll get a WWE Championship match, which could change the trajectory on the road to Wrestlemania, as Explosion goes off the air.
