Explosion opens with Michael Cole and commentary welcoming everyone to the show, as they show superstars arriving earlier in the day.
Commentators recap the fatal four way elimination match from last week where Tama Tonga defeated Elton Prince, Otis and Axiom.
In a video from earlier in the day, William is addressing the tag teams in the fatal four way match tonight, saying that unlike last week, he wants the tag team partners at ringside tonight, because Explosion has the strongest tag team division in the world and he wants them to have a front row seat to tonight's action!
Commentators hype the opening match next as tag teams make their way to the ring.
The Street Profits are shown, looking over their shoulders, after their encounter from last week, as they watch the monitor to see who will win the match. The MFT's are also shown watching, seeing who will be their opponent in the number one contenders match!
The match gets underway!

After the match, footage is shown of the MFTs and the Street Profits discussing who won the match, when the cameras rush to another backstage area where Roxanne Perez is shown visibly hurting and rolling around in pain. William rushes up as backstage personnel check on Perez, and William asks what happened. No one seems to know. William says that she is supposed to be in the battle royal of former world champions next. The medic says that she's in no condition to compete. William looks franctic, as he takes a moment to think. He whispers something to a backstage personnel who is walking by. The person rushes off as commentators wonder what will happen with the battle royal!
Backstage, Paul Heyman is talking to Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. Heyman is pissed that Jimmy Uso put his nose in their business last week, telling Bron and Bronson that he has gone to William and William has granted his wish, so in tonight's main event, it will be Bronson Reed vs Jimmy Uso. Paul tells Bronson to put Jimmy in his place tonight! Bronson promises to put Jimmy on the shelf. Heyman smirks hard, as he loves that idea.

After the break, in the ring, Chelsea Green is saying that it's a shame that someone attacked Roxanne Perez. She assumes that someone attacked Perez, saying that Perez may have been scared at the thought of having to face her since she won her battle royal last week. The crowd boos as Chelsea tells them to pipe down because she has more to say. Chelsea says that she should have been in the battle royal tonight because she is a former world champion in TNA, however, Willy Will must have something against her like all of the other general managers did. She says that she is already that greatest Women's United States champion and at Survivor Series. she will become the greatest women's champion of all-time.
Jade Cargill music hits, as she makes her way to the ring. Chelsea Green looks scared and pissed at the same time. Jade says that she's that bitch and no bitch in any locker room is taking that title from her. Chelsea Green says: "Wow, language", before Jade cuts her off saying that she wants to face Chelsea next week since Chelsea thinks she's going to beat her at Survivor Series. Chelsea thinks for a second before saying no and rushing out the ring. Jade looks pissed as Gulia makes her way to the ring for the Former World Champion Battle Royal.
Entrances as Michael Cole announces that because of the attack on Roxanne Perez earlier, William has booked Natalya to replace Roxanne Perez in the match. Corey Graves then announces that due to unforseen circumstances, Rhea Ripley has been removed from the battle royal and will be replaced with former world champion, Nikki Cross.

After the break, as more women enter the battle royal, backstage as she makes her way to the ramp, Tiffany Stratton bumps into Jade Cargill. Tiffany tells Jade that she's going to win tonight's battle royal and then she's going to reclaim her title at Survivor Series. Jade chuckles, telling Tiffany that "We'll see about that butch" as Jade smirks before walking away, bumping shoulders with Tiffany on the way. Tiffany says "eh" as she makes her entrance in the battle royal.
After the match, Tiffany Stratton looks into the camera, addressing Jade Cargill, saying, "I told you so, bitch" as commentators are shocked at the aggressiveness of Stratton!
Backstage, in William office, CM Punk walks in, as William puts up a finger, telling Punk to hold on, as he finishes a phone conversation. Punk gets comfortable on William's couch, putting his foot on the table and kicking back. When William gets off the phone, William looks at Punk, slightly raising an eye brow. Punk jumps up very quickly, apologizing for his behavior. William asks what Punk wants. Punk tells William that he doesn't trust that buffalo Pual Heyman, so he wants to accompany Jimmy to the ring tonight, however, Jimmy wants to go at it alone but he knows how Heyman operates so he thinks Jimmy could use some help. William says he understands but says he cannot force Jimmy to allow Punk at ringside. Punk says he gets that as well but since Jimmy helped him last week, he wants to return the favor because he hates owing anybody. William asks Punk what he really wants. Punk tells William he just wants William to talk to Jimmy about letting him accompany him to the ring tonight. William says he will talk to Jimmy. Punk thanks William, patting him on the back. William gives Punk a look. Punk says sorry, putting his hands up and turning to walk away. Before we walks out the office, Punk says nice shirt, its soft, smirking on his way out. William rolls his eyes but chuckles!
Ilja Dragunov is shown preparing for his match against Aleister Black next, as commentators hype the match!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, commentators recap Aleister Black accepting Ilja Dragunov's open challenge before backing out last minute and getting the Miz to face Ilja instead.
Ilja Dragunov makes his way to the ring. As he awaits Aleister Black in the ring, Black comes out saying he's hurt before announcing a surprise opponent for Ilja again!
After the match, the lights in the arena go dark and when they come back on, Aleister Black is behind Ilja, hitting him with a Black Mass, knocking him out as commentators point out that Aleister was faking an injury to avoid a match with Ilja again this week.
Backstage, after the match, Nikki Bella is stretching when Natalya walks by, trying to avoid Nikki. Nikki clears her throat, causing Natalya to turn around. Natalya says "What Nikki?" Nikki asks Natalya what's her problem. Natalya says that she should be asking Nikki the same thing, since Nikki has made it her business to be a bully to the girls backstage! Nikki says Excuse me, telling Natalya that the only issue she has with Natalya is the fact that Natalya says that she is a locker room leader, and is training the newer grls but Natalya can't win a match, so what kind of example is she really setting? Natalya says that she's been working her ass off all those years that Nikki was doing podcasts and competition shows. Nikki says Natalya is just jealous that she beat her last week and points out that Natalya just failed again in the battle royal tonight. Nikki says that Natalya is also jealous that she left, had a baby and has it all and Natalya has cats. Natalya slaps Nikki to the ground and walks away. Nikki is shocked, screaming Natalya will pay for that.

Backstage, William walks up to Jimmy Uso, with Jimmy saying, What's up Uce? William says that he understands that Jimmy is trying to do everything on his own to prove that he's just as valuable as his brother, Jey but warns Jimmy that he's dealt with Paul Heyman before and they both know that Heyman is a master manipulator and always has an ace up his sleeve. Jimmy says he knows that, with William telling Jimmy he'd feel more comfortable is Jimmy allowed CM Punk to have his back tonight at ringside, to ensure that Jimmy doesn't get hurt, but he'd hate to lose one of his most valubale players because of pride. Jimmy thinks for a second and tells William that Punk can be at ringside, but warns that Punk better not interfere or get in his way. William says he understands as Jimmy walks away. Cameras catch Punk listening in, with Punk walking up, patting William on the back and saying thank you. William looks at Punk again with disdain, with Punk again putting up his hands and apologizing saying, "Hey man, its the soft shirt". Punk laughs as he walks away and WIlliam drops his head, putting his hands over his face.
Commentators laugh at William and CM Punk's interactions throughout the night as Maxxine Dupri makes her way to the ring.
When Nikki Bella makes her entrance, Natalya attacks her from behind, until referees and security break them up. Maxxine Dupri, who is shocked attacks Nikki, throwing her in the ring as the referee checks to make sure Nikki is good to go for the match.
Commentators wonder if Nikki will be able to compete.

After the break, it is determined that Nikki has agreed to continue with the match.
After the match, Natalya comes back out, trash-talking Nikki until Nikki makes her way up the stage, leading to the two ladies fighting until security breaks them up!
Paul Heyman is shown strategizing with Bronson Reed backstage, as Bron Breakker rubs his shoulders to loosen him up.
Commentators hype the main event, next as CM Punk catches up with Jimmy Uso, who takes a moment to talk to Punk, however, the WWE universe cannot hear what they're saying!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Backstage, Kiana James walks in the women's locker room, where Nikki Bella is packing her stuff. Kiana says that she has been working with Gulia, and their partnership has worked wonders for Gulia's career, and she wonders what she can do for a Hall-of-Famer like Nikki Bella. Nikki shrugs and says she's good as she picks up her bag and starts to walk away. Kiana tells Nikki that she figured she'd say that, so she went to William and proposed a match for next week. Nikki asks what that has to do with her. Kiana says that next week Nikki Bella will team with Gulia to take on Maxxine Dupri and Natalya. Nikki asks why she would do that, saying that no offense but she doesn't want to tag with Gulia. Kiana says that Nikki may want to reconsider, seeing as the winning team will get a future tag team title shot against the women's tag team champions. Nikki stops momentarily, as Kiana says we should talk, shutting the door on the camera.
Commentators wonder what Kiana and Nikki are talking about as they also announce that next week, the MFT's will take on the Motor City Machine Guns to determine the number one contender for the tag team championships! After feigning an injury tonight, Aleister Black is scheduled to finally face Ijla Dragunov next week, with commentators wondering if he'll actually wrestle this time.
Backstage, Chelsea Green is on the phone, bragging about how she dodged a match against that Storm wannabe, Jade Cargill. William walks up, takes the phone out of Chelsea's hand, and hangs it up! Chelsea says, Excuse me, that was rude. William shrugs, saying he doesn't care. Chelsea asks what William wants, with him saying after their confrontation earlier tonight, he has decided to grant Jade's request. Chelsea asks what that means. William says next week it will be a champion vs champion match as Chelsea Green will go one-on-one with Jade Cargill, as William hands Chelsea her phone back and walks away. Chelsea screams, No, you can't do this to me, as she begs Willy Will to come back. When William keeps walking, demanding that Chelsea quit calling him that, Chelsea throws a tantrum, accidentally throwing her phone in the process. When she picks it up, its shattered with Chelsea crying, saying Willy Will owes her a phone and an apology.
Commentators are laughing at Chelsea's predicament as they hype the main event, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
During the match, Bron Breakker gets involved, causing CM Punk to get involved as well, with the referee kicking both of them from ringside. After the match, Bron Breakker comes back out, attacking Jimmy along with Bronson Reed. CM Punk rushes out to make the save. All four men fight until security breaks it up. William rushes out, demanding the men keep their cool, announcing next week, CM Punk will team up with Jimmy Uso to take on the Wolf Pack [Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker]. The WWE universe love that idea as Explosion goes off the air. Cameras catch, Punk rubbing William's chest, with Punk saying, "It's the shirt, as Explosion fades to black.
