Explosion kicks off with Michael Cole and commentators welcoming everyone to the show, as footage of the Wolf Pack, Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green, and CM Punk arriving to the arena.
Michael Cole says that Rey Mysterio will be kicking off the show, as he announced on "X" that he has a major announcement to make tonight!
In the ring, Rey Mysterio says that he has an announcement to make. Rey says that his career has been one that he could only dream of. He says that from his days in Mexico to WCW and WWE, he has been blessed to see and do it all. Rey says that after all the ups and downs, being able to entertain millions of people and meeting some of the entertainers in the world, he thinks it's time to enjoy his family and friends, at home, as the WWE universe boos loudly, chanting, "No"! As Rey starts to get emotional, the WWE universe chants change to, "Thank you, Rey"! Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Torro are shown in the locker room, along with other superstars, clapping and cheering on Rey. Rey starts speaking in Spanish and saying, "I love you" as he puts down the mic and starts to wave to the WWE universe. When Rey gets on the top rope, Solo Sikoa rushes out, attacking Rey from behind, hitting him in the back of the leg, causing him to fall off the top rope, eventually hitting the Somoan Spike on Rey along with a Somoan Drop. As security, referees, and medics rush out, Solo runs through the WWE universe, escaping as Dragon Lee and the LWO rush out to check on Rey! Rey is ushered out on a stretcher as the WWE universe looks on in shock, as commentators try to figure out what was up with Solo interrupting Rey's moment and attacking him.
Commentators try to bring focus back to the show, as they promise to let the WWE universe what's going on with Rey Mysterio, as soon as they know more. Corey Graves recaps the rivalry between Aleister Black and Ilja Dragunov, as he reminds the WWE universe that two weeks ago, Aleister picked the Miz as a replacement for him, and last week, Carmelo Hayes filled in for Aleister Black, who was pretending to be hurt.
Backstage, Cathy Kelley gets a quick word with Ilja Dragunov who says that he hopes Aleister Black faces him like a real man tonight, and not try to trick his way out of another match!

COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, Solo Sikoa is rushing out of the arena, as Cathy Kelley tries to ask him why he attacked Rey Mysterio; Solo momentarily looks at Cathy before rushing away.
During the match, Aleister Black pretends to walk away from the match, just to sucker punch Ilja Dragunov to get the upper hand. After the match, Aleister tries to attack Ijla, however, he ducks and kicks Aleister with a dropkick, causing Aleister to be tossed out of the ring, and running up the ramp, pissed.
Backstage, cameras catch Kiana James strategizing with Gulia when Nikki Bella walks up. Kiana asks Nikki if she's ready to talk business. Nikki says that she just wants to go out there and finally put Natalya and her rookie out of their misery. Kiana wispers something in Nikki's ear, as she shuts the door in the cameras face.
Commentators recap what happened last week with Kiana telling Nikki that whoever wins the tag team match, will get a future Women's Tag Team championship title shot. Commentators hype the match, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, Randy Orton walks into the camera, as the WWE universe goes wild. Commentators announce that Randy Orton is now back on Explosion. Randy walks into the trainer's room, checking on Rey Mysterio, who medics are preparing to take to a local hospital. Rey, who is barely able to speak tells Randy that it's good to have him back on Friday nights. Randy chuckles, saying "I thought you were retiring?", Rey laughs, and then starts coughing, grabbing his ribs, saying "I have some payback to dish out before I can hang up the boots for good". Randy nods as he gently pats Rey on the shoulders, as medics roll Rey out of the room. Randy stares into the distance, as cameras move back to ringside, where Natalya and Maxxine Dupri are waiting for their opponents.
Nikki Bella and Gulia rush in the ring, not even making proper entrances, as they attack Natalya and Maxxine Dupri.
After the match, Nikki and Gulia attack Natalya and Maxxine; however, Natalya and Maxxine get the upper hand before Kiana James hits Maxxine with her pocketbook, distracting Natalya, who is attacked from behind by Nikki Bella, who then hits the Rack Attack 2.0 on Natalya, leaving her laid out and Maxxine Dupri, slightly bloody, as Kiana raises Gulia and Nikki's hands.
Commentators are disgusted by Nikki and Gulia's actions, as cameras go backstage where the Motor City Machine Guns are stretching and preparing for their match! The Street Profits walk up, telling MCMG good luck, as they walk away.
Commentators recap the two fatal four-way matches that led to the number one contenders' match between the Motor City Machine Guns and the MFTs. next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, cameras catch William and Randy Orton talking, although the WWE universe can't hear what's being said. William starts nodding as Randy Orton puts his hand out for William to shake, which he does. Orton pats William on the back and starts to walk away. As Orton is walking out the door, CM Punk walks in, as they stare each other down intently. Punk breaks first, smiling, saying, Welcome back to Explosion. Orton gives a sly grin, not saying anything just walking away. Punk walks in the office saying, I saw my old pal Randy patting you on the shoulder; I'm sure he would have loved that shirt you had on last week, as the WWE universe erupts in laughter! William asks Punk what he wants. Punk replies, I'm the champ, and I don't have a match tonight. Last week, I was in the corner of Jimmy Uso and tonight I'm just walking around, eating, so how about you put me in coach. Let me have a match! William thinks for a second and says, I got it; in the words of the legendary Teddy Long, tonight's main event will be a tag team match with CM Punk and Jimmy Uso teaming up to take on the Wolfpack, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. CM Punk shrugs, saying, "I would have preferred a match without me having to team with anybody, but beggars can't be choosers, so I'll take it". William starts laughing and then suddenly stops, telling Punk, "As if you had a choice to turn it down". Punk stops laughing and says, "You're right, man, chill". Punk then pats William on the shoulder, saying, "Yeah, last week's shirt felt much better, and you were in a better mood last week when you were wearing it". Punk grins as he walks away, with William rolling his eyes but secretly grinning!
Commentators hype the main event for later tonight!
After the match, the MFTs attack the Motor City Machine Guns, however, the Street Profits make the save as the MFTs laugh as they walk up the ramp, motioning for the title!
Backstage, Cathy Kelley catches up with Randy Orton, asking what he and William were discussing. Randy tells Cathy she'll find out in a moment with the rest of the world!
Commentators wonder what Randy has to say, as he makes his way to the ring!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
In the ring, Randy Orton says what Solo Sikoa did to Rey Mysterio earlier tonight was despicable, and as the former legend killer, he understands making a name for yourself off of the backs of legends. Randy says that Solo is a knockoff Roman Reigns, who pretends to run things, but deep down inside has to use under handed tactics because he knows he'll never measure up to his cousin Roman or his older brothers, the Usos. Solo interrupts, as commentators say they thought Solo left earlier.
In the ring, Solo says that Randy is washed up and past his prime and accuses Randy of trying to stay relevant by using his name to stay important. Solo says what he did to Rey Mysterio had nothing to do with Randy, so if Randy knows what's good for him, he'll mind his business. Randy says, Or what? Solo chuckles, telling Randy he wants a match next week; Randy says, Why wait as he hits Solo and the two start to fight until security breaks things up.
Backstage, Chelsea Green is trying to convince William to change his mind about the match with Jade Cargill. William, who is visibly annoyed, tells Chelsea she might want to head to the ring because her match is next, as he starts to walk away! Chelsea yells, Willy Will, please change your mind. I am your women's us champion, and I deserve better. William stops in his tracks, saying, You're right, you do deserve better, so next week you'll face your other opponent in the Women's Championship match, Tiffany Stratton, and your United States championship will be on the line in that match, as William winks at Chelsea as he walks away. Chelsea screams in anger, throwing things off of a nearby table, accidentally hitting Jade Cargill in the process. Jade, who seems pissed, tells Chelsea, You'll pay for that, as commentators hype their match, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, CM Punk is stretching when Jimmy Uso walks up, wondering why CM Punk is so hell bent on teaming with him? Punk tells Jimmy that he wanted a match, not a tag team match, and William was the one who made the match a tag team match. Punk says he'd definitely prefer to face the Wolf Pack in a handicap match, than to be forced to team with him. Jimmy starts laughing, telling Punk to make sure to hold his own out there in the match! Punk goes back to stretching, as Jimmy smirks and walks away!
Jade Cargill is in the ring; before Chelsea Green can make her entrance, Jade attacks her, gaining the upper hand in their match!
After the match, Jade attacks Chelsea until Tiffany Stratton rushes out with a steel chair, making Jade retreat up the ramp. Chelsea, who realizes what's happening, thanks Stratton for her help, however, Tiffany grabs the United States championship from the referee, slowly handing it to Chelsea, who grabs it and rolls out the ring, holding onto the championship tight, as Tiffany motions for the title. Commentators hype the United States championship match next week between Chelsea and Tiffany!
The Wolf Pack are shown strategizing with Paul Heyman. Commentators recap Bron Breakker beating CM Punk two weeks ago, with Jimmy Uso making the save, and Bronson Reed beating Jimmy Uso last week after an altercation between Punk and Breakker at ringside. Commentators hype the main event!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the break, Michael Cole says that there is some breaking news, as he throws it to the titantron, where William will address the WWE universe.
William says that at Survivor Series, Jade Cargill will be defending the WWE Women's Championship against Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton, as well as the Street Profits defending the WWE Tag Team Championships against the MFTs. He says as far as the Explosion Wargames match is concerned, he has decided that it will be CM Punk teaming with Jimmy Uso, Randy Orton, and Ilja Dragunov to take on the team of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Solo Sikoa, and Aleister Black. The WWE universe likes that idea as William also announces that on next week's show, Chelsea Green will defend her United States championship against Tiffany Stratton; Kiana James will go one-on-one with Maxxine Dupri after what transpired tonight; Ilja Dragunov will defend his United States championship against Aleister Black, and Randy Orton will take on Solo Sikoa to decide who will get the advantage in Wargames for their team, as William encourages the WWE universe to sit back and enjoy the main event!
Commentators are excited about the matches for next week and at Survivor Series as they hype the main event and the Wolfpack make their entrance!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
After the match, as the Wolpack celebrate, William on the titantron says that next week's show will be a Night of Champions since both United States championships are being defended, CM Punk will also defend his title, since Bron Breakker has pinned Punk twice, in 3 weeks, he will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Breakker in next week's main event! The WWE universe are shocked by that announcement, as Heyman has a sneaky grin on his face, and Breakker looks excited. Punk, who is still trying to recover, seems shocked, as he tells the camera, You see, I knew I liked him better in that other shirt, as the cameras fade to black, and Explosion goes off the air!
