Backstage, Jessica walks into William's office, looking around, amazed at his office. She thanks him for inviting her to his show, but seems confused as to why she was invited. William wonders why Jessica would be shocked about being invited to the show. Jessica gives William a look, mockingly saying, Now you and me both know, you never invite me to your shows unless you have something important to say. William pauses for a second before smiling and saying, You're right. I did invite you for a specific reason. Jessica asks, And what might that reason be? Before William can answer, Nicholas walks through the door. William asks Jessica if she needs a bodyguard. Jessica says that since the incident with Drew McIntyre, Nicholas comes along to make sure she's alright. William tells Nicholas that Jessica is in no danger here. Nicholas steps to William, saying, That's not a risk I'm willing to take. William smirks, telling Jessica to meet him in the ring after the next match. Jessica nods as William says, "You're welcome here, but not this dumbass. He can wait out back with the rest of the garbage". Jessica seems conflicted on what to do next. Nicholas puts up both of his hands, telling Jessica that he'll leave the office so she can spend some time with her family, but warns William that he'll be in the hallway. William shrugs as he sits on his couch, kicking his feet up on the table. Jessica winks at Nicholas as he steps into the hallway.
Cameras catch Nicholas grabbing a chair, nearby, and sitting by the door, as commentators wonder why William has invited Jessica to the show. Corey Graves says that Jessica has brought her rabid dog husband with her, already causing drama for Explosion. Michael Cole warns Corey to stay calm as he moves on to the next match, recapping the rivalry between the Street Profits and the Tongas.

Cameras show Nicholas Simpson still sitting by the door, outside of William's office.
Meanwhile, in the office, Jessica questions why William was so rude to Nicholas. William wonders why he should like Nicholas. William pauses for a second before adding, Hell, just a couple of weeks ago, you couldn't even stand his ass, so why should I? Jessica says that Nicholas has been very protective since things went down with Drew. William laughs, saying, And didn't he lose to Drew? So is he really all that protective? Jessica rolls her eyes, telling William that she wants to know why she's here. William tells Jessica to be patient and enjoy the show, because her being at his show won't happen too many more times. Jessica agrees, but says she's going to check on Nicholas.
Jessica goes to check on Nicholas, who assures Jessica he is fine. He points towards a tv monitor, where he can see the action. Nicholas tells Jessica to quit worrying about him and go enjoy the show, promising to take her out after they leave. Jessica takes a deep breath and walks back inside William's office.
Meanwhile, backstage, the Tongas are celebrating with Solo Sikoa. Jacob Fatu walks by, looking upset. Solo smirks, saying You see this gold. This could have been you, brother, until he decided to turn your back on your family. Jacob smiles, saying You've never really been family to me. Solo's smirk turns into anger as he punches Jacob. The two trade punches, as the MFTs attack Jacob as well. The Street Profits walk up, joining in, as all six men fight. Nicholas sees the commotion as he tries to go into William's office, however the door is locked. Nicholas bangs on the door, as William opens the door, angrily asking Nicholas, what the hell is his problem, banging on his door like the FBI. Nicholas says, your superstars are fighting over there as William rushes to the commotion. Jessica rushes out to see what's going on as Nicholas says, I guess your superstars aren't the only ones who show their ass in front of company, as Jessica laughs, adding, at least his people didn't do it in front of Triple H.
As security breaks up the fight, William tells all 6 men that they can settle things in the ring this Friday on Explosion in a 6 man tag team match, as security forces both groups to go their separate ways.
Commentators hype the match for Explosion, as Corey Graves says, You see Cole, everywhere that Jessica and her hound dog goes, chaos follows.
Michael Cole shakes his head as he recaps the rivalry between Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton.
A video showcasing the feud is shown. After the video, Kiana James tells Chelsea, let's go put an end to Tiffany's claims that you have to cheat to win, as she winks, holding her purse. Chelsea starts grinning as she follows Kiana James to the ring.
Backstage, Nikki Bella and Giulia are walking around, gloating about their tag team championships. Nia Jax and Lash Legend walk up, admiring the titles. Nia tells Nikki and Giulia to hold on tight to those titles because soon, she and the Bougie Baddie, Lash, will take those titles off their shoulders. Nikki says as if, as she and Giulia turn around to walk away. When they turn around, however, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez are standing behind them, saying that those titles need to be back on their shoulders. Lash tells Roxanne and Raquel that just like Judgment Day, their time is up. Raquel and Roxanne get in Lash Legend's and Nia Jax's face, saying We'll see about that. William walks up, saying, Yes, we will because this Friday on Explosion, you two teams can face each other to see whose the best. He tells Jessica to follow him to grab a snack. Nikki and Giulia are shown sneaking away as Nia, Lash, Roxanne, and Raquel are seemingly annoyed that Nikki and Giulia have walked away.

Meanwhile, backstage, Jade Cargill is walking around confidently holding and admiring her championship. Jordynne Grace walks up, saying Let me formally introduce myself. Jade looks annoyed, saying I know exactly who you are, the little twerp I'm going to squash in a couple of weeks, like I've done every other woman who has stepped in my way. Jordynne laughs, not saying a word as she winks and walks away. Jade looks pissed as she holds onto her title tighter!
After the match, Ilja Dragunov is escorted from ringside, seemingly injured during the course of the match, as medics check on him.
In the locker room, Paul Heyman is hyping up Bron Breakker, telling him that soon he will be the new Undisputed WWE champion of the world. Bronson Reed agrees as he says that he's so happy he'll be at ringside to witness it all. William walks in with Jessica, saying that he wanted to wish Bron Breakker good luck tonight. Heyman says that Breakker doesn't need luck; his boy CM Punk is the one who needs all the luck he can get. William shrugs as he starts to walk away, but turns around and says that in the interest of fairness, he has invited two people to look out for his "boy" tonight. Heyman looks confused, as William says, Fellas. Heyman, Reed, and Breakker are shocked when Randy Orton and Damian Priest walk into the locker room. William says that Orton and Priest will see the Wolfpack out there tonight, in the interest of fairness. The Wolfpack seemed pissed as William smirks and walks away, with Jessica smiling awkwardly!
Corey Graves wonders if William got that "idiotic" idea from Jessica, as Byron Saxton hypes the main event later tonight!
In the trainers' room, medics tell William, who is checking on Dragunov, that it seems he has torn a pectoral muscle and will be out up to 12 weeks. William looks disappointed as he has a private conversation with a visibly upset Ilha Dragunov.
Michael Cole hypes the upcoming 3 on 3 elimination tornado tag team match, next as he recaps the rivalry between all 6 women.
After the match, as AJ Lee and crew celebrate, William's music hits as he makes his way to the ring, with Jessica following closely behind. William calls out all of the female roster, in the back, as they surround the ring, including the participants who just competed. William says that he invited Jessica to New Year's Revolution because he has a major announcement. A table with a black satin towel covering something is brought into the ring. William says that before Nikki Bella and Giulia defeated Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss for the WWE Women's Tag Team championships, he had these designed, as he unveils the Women's World Tag Team championships, as the crowd and the women around the ring look amazed. William says, however, since Nikki and Giulia won the tag team titles, the World Tag Team championships that he had made, he is giving them to the ladies on Warriors to have for their own tag team division, as William hands the titles to Jessica. Jessica gives William a big hug, as she admires the championships, and the WWE universe and Explosion women's locker roo, clap in excitment.
Commentators gush over the new Women's World Tag Team championships that are now exclusive to Warriors, while the WWE Women's Tag Team championships are exclusive to Explosion!
Commentators hype the main event, as they recap the rivalry between CM Punk and the Wolfpack.
Backstage, as CM Punk prepares for his match, Randy Orton and Damian Priest walk up to Punk, as Punk wonders why they're accompanying him to ringside. Orton and Priest look at each other before Randy says that William owes them a favor for helping Punk out. Punk asks what that favor may be? Priest says, You'll see as he and Orton smile and walk towards the ring.
Cameras show Nicholas and Jessica leaving the arena, despite Jessica seemingly not ready to leave. Nicholas, who says that they have late night reservations, is rushing Jessica out of the arena. Suddenly, Nicholas is kicked in the face, as Jessica screams. Cameras show Drew McIntyre smiling, saying it doesn't seem like they'll be making those reservations, as he laughs, walking away. Jessica screams for help as cameras pan to show Nicholas bleeding from the nose, rolling around in pain.
After the match, Bronson Reed gets in the ring, attacking CM Punk, as Randy Orton and Damian Priest make the save. Shinsuke Nakamura comes through the crowd, hitting the Kinshasa on CM Punk, as Bronson Reed hits the Tsnami on Damian Priest and Bron Breakker spears Randy Orton. William rushes out, motioning for security to come out, forcing the Wolfpack and Shinsuke out from ringside. As security escorts the Wolfpack out, William announces on Explosion, Shinsuke Nakamura will team with the Wolfpack to take on CM Punk, Randy Orton, and Damian Priest in the main event, as New Year's Revolution goes off the air!
