Real reason Rhea Ripley was pulled from this week's Explosion

Rhea Ripley was scheduled to participate in the 6-woman former women's champions battle-royal on this past episode of Explosion; however, during the broadcast, Michael Cole announced that Rhea Ripley would not be participating in the match.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that the real reason Rhea was pulled from the match is not because she's injured, but instead there are creative plans to move "Mami" to the red brand, Warriors, in exchange for Nia Jax, who will move to the blue brand, Explosion!

Viewers saw Nikki Cross, replace Rhea Ripley in the match. Also in that match, Natalya replaced Roxanne Perez. This, according to Dave, is for storyline purposes and there's nothing behind Roxanne being pulled from the match.
