Michael Cole welcomes everyone to the 2026 Royal Rumble as cameras zoom around the crowd, showcasing the amazing stadium built specifically for Explosion last night and tonight's Royal Rumble.
Corey Graves and Byron Saxton recap the matches for tonight's premium live event, as Michael Cole throws it to the ring for the opening match of the night.
Backstage, Nicholas Simpson and Jessica are huddled together in the GM's office, when William walks in. William seems disgusted as he tells Nicholas and Jessica to get a damn room. Nicholas, who seems annoyed, throws his hands in the air, telling William to lighten up, as he kisses Jessica on the cheek, assuring her that he'll see her later. Jessica nods as Nicholas, who stops for a second to stare at William, walks out of the office. William tells Jessica that she needs to be more professional; Jessica rolls her eyes telling William that he needs to mind his damn business. William says that Jessica is more than welcomed to go join her husband if that's what she'd like to do, but says that as long as they have to share a office, she will respect his working environment. Jessica says whatever, as she starts to walk away. William says that he sees exactly what Corey Graves means, as Jessica turns around quickly, saying, What did you just say? William says, "You and me both know you heard what the hell I said, and best believe I didn't stutter, nor did I say it low enough that you couldn't hear it". Jessica gets in William's face. William with a smile says, that he dares her to hit him like she did Corey. Jessica tells William to watch his back, adding, "Just because we family, don't mean you can't catch these hands too". William tells Jessica to "watch it". Jessica says, "or what", William smiles as he says, "You'll see". William winks, as he walks out of the office, instead of Jessica. Jessica laughs, saying, "That's what I thought". Suddenly, the lights start to flicker and the room gets pitch dark. Jessica is heard panting in fear. When the lights come back on, the Wyatt Sicks symbol is on the wall, in the office. A faint voice, sounding like Uncle Howdy echoes throughout the room, as the voice says, "Embrace the chaos". Jessica runs out the office quickly, running into William who is standing at the door. Jessica looks at William scared, and rushes off, as William laughs, walking back in the office, saying, "Embrace the chaos", as he laughs, closing the door behind him.
Michael Cole is speechless, as Corey Graves laughs hysterically saying, "That's what she get's for thinking she runs everything. I'm glad William put her in her place". Byron Saxton warns Corey to let it go, but Corey can't contain his laughter!
Michael Cole warns Corey to tread lightly, as he sends it to the backstage area where Jackie Redman is with Brooklyn von Braun.
Jackie welcomes Brooklyn, asking her how she feels. Brooklyn says that she feels great, adding that she just came back after years of not being in the WWE and is already main-eventing Wrestlemania, and winning the Royal Rumble. Jackie asks which champion she will choose. Brooklyn says that she already has an idea of who she wants to face, but she'll keep that to herself for now. Jackie ask Brooklyn what's next; Brooklyn says that she'll be on Warriors to address the WWE universe, have a little chat with the champ, Stephanie Vaquer, and hopefully get her hands on somebody on Warriors and make them tap, because it's been too long. Jackie thanks Brooklyn for her time. As Brooklyn turns around, Jade Cargill is standing there. Brooklyn smirks, saying, I'll see you Friday, "champ"! Brooklyn walks away, leaving Jade standing there looking unimpressed.
Cameras show Shinsuke Nakamura and CM Punk preparing for their match. Michael Cole recaps the rivalry between the two, as Corey Graves hypes the match, next!
Backstage, cameras catch Jessica running up to Nicholas, with Nicholas asking what's wrong. Jessica tells Nicholas about her altercation with William, with Uncle Howdy torturing her in the office. Nicholas who is pissed starts to walk away from Jessica, as he asks him where he's going. Nicholas says that he's going to handle William. Jessica begs for Nicholas to let it go, telling him that he needs to focus on his Royal Rumble match. Nicholas says that protecting Jessica is more important, as he storms away, with Jessica looking nervous.
Corey Graves says that Jessica's rabid dog of a husband is back at it again, causing unnecessary drama because Jessica isn't woman enough to fight her own battles. Byron Saxton and Michael Cole tells Corey to please quit commenting on the Jessica situation and let it go. Corey says that he won't let it go, until justice is served! Michael Cole puts his hand over his head, as he recaps the rivalry between Cody Rhodes, Jake Silva, and LA Knight, as Byron Saxton hypes the match coming up next. Cameras catch Corey Graves seemingly pissed, not saying a word.
After the match, Cody Rhodes is pissed with the outcome.
Backstage, Nicholas is yelling for William. Nicholas bursts into the GM's office, where William has his feet on the desk, seemingly relaxing, enjoying the show. Nicholas demands William tell him what his issue is, asking, How dare you talk to my wife like that. William smirks, seemingly unbothered telling Nicholas that he better back the hell up if he wants to make it to the Royal Rumble match. Nicholas asks William if that's a threat, William says, No, that's a promise! Nicholas gets in William face, saying that he'll knock him the hell out. William tells Nicholas to do it. Nicholas balls up his fist, and goes to punch William, however, William dodges the punch, and hitting Nicholas instead. Jessica rushes in, asking William why he's acting like that. William tells Jessica that she and her punk ass husband can go to Hell, as he walks away, as Nicholas rolls around in pain.
Corey Graves laughs hysterically as cameras rush backstage where Gunther is attacking AJ Styles. Security and referees try to break things up, with William walking up, demanding that Gunther stop. Gunther says that William is not his boss, so he's not required to listen to him. William smirks, saying, that Gunther may run over Jessica, but he damn sure won't be telling him what to do. William tells Gunther that if he doesn't stop, he will have security escort him out the building and disqualify him from the Royal Rumble. Gunther raises his foot, as if he's going to stomp AJ again. William warns him to try it. Gunther puts his foot down, raising his hand, saying, "My work here is done, anyway", as he walks away, staring William down angrily. AJ is visible bruised and bloodied, as William turns to a production staff member, telling them to hurry up and inform Cody Rhodes that he's now in the Royal Rumble, since AJ is no longer cleared to compete. The WWE universe goes wild with that announcement.
Corey Graves says, That's how you handle business, alluding to William handling Gunther and the assault on AJ. Corey adds that Jessica could never be that professional or make an informed decision like that, as Michael Cole sends it to the ring for the Men's Royal Rumble match.
Cameras catch WWE Universal champion, CM Punk, and new World Heavyweight champion, Jake Silva watching backstage.
During the match, cameras rush backstage where Carmelo Hayes has been laid out. Cameras show he has been attacked, with glass on his head, and over his body. Security, referees, and medics rush to his side, with William walking up to him as well. Max, a producer asks William what they're going to do about his number 30 spot. William says he knows someone who is in the area, who can take his spot, but demands that Max find out who in the hell attacked Carmelo.
Cameras rush back to the in-ring action with the Men's Royal Rumble...
After the match, a frustrated and angry Jessica and Nicholas are leaving the arena. The street lights start to flicker as Jessica appears scared. Uncle Howdy voice echoes surround them, as they stop in their tracks. Cameras catch Uncle Howdy behind Nicholas and Jessica. Howdy taps Nicholas on his shoulder, and then tap Jessica on hers. Jessica screams without turning around. Nicholas turns around slowly. Howdy starts laughing saying, Hey friend. It's time to embrace the chaos. I'll see you in the ring this Friday on Explosion. Because we're here! All the street lights go out and when they come back on, seconds later, Howdy is gone! As Jessica screams in fear and the Royal Rumble goes off the air!
Who DA f*** took my boy Melo out????? I was looking forward to him being number 30

William was a little over reactive but Jessica knew better and should do better
Brooklyn von Braun winning womens rumble was mistake... Tiffany Stratton should win
Roman winning men was bad because Gunther should win
Not enough surprised in rumbles
Cody Rhodes should have retained and they should have let Shinsuke win for once

what if the swerve is William vs Nicholas at Wrestlemania instead of Nicholas vs Drew... that would be a good match
von braun will destroy jade cargill at wrestlemania because jade can't wreste hehehe
Roman Reigns vs Jake Silva or Roman Reigns vs CM Punk... watch they somehow give Cody the championship back and it be Roman vs Cody 3 since their tied 1-1 at Wrestlemania SMH
